अमेरिकी संसद के कर्मचारियों का भारत दौरा, पश्चिमी नौसेना कमांड के प्रमुख से की बात

अमेरिकी संसद का प्रतिनिधिमंडल भारत दौरे पर है। इस दौरान गुरुवार को प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने पश्चिमी नौसेना कमांड का दौरा किया। प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने वेस्ट कमांड के कमांडिंग-इन-चीफ वाइस एडमिरल दिनेश के त्रिपाठी सहित अन्य नौसेना अधिकारियों से बात की।

आईएनएस मोरमुगाओ का भी दौरा किया
विभाग ने एक विज्ञप्ति जारी कर कहा कि प्रतिनिधिमंडल को पश्चिमी नौसेना कमांड की भूमिका, जिम्मेदारी और उनके कामकाज का प्रजेंटेशन दिया गया। इस दौरान मंडल ने स्वदेशी मिसाइल गाइडेड आईएनएस मोरमुगाओ का भी दौरा किया। अमेरिकी दल ने मझगांव डॉक शिप बिल्डर्स लिमिटेड का भी दौरा किया, जहां उन्हें स्वदेशी जहाज के निर्माण की क्षमता के बारे में बताया गया।
