पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड में ED की छापेमारी के बाद 7 लोग गिरफ्तार, सरकारी जमीन हड़पने का आरोप
नई दिल्ली: प्रवर्तन निदेशालय(ED) द्वारा बृहस्पतिवार को पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड में 20 स्थानों पर तलाशी लेने के बाद सात लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है. इन सभी पर सरकारी और डिफेंस की जमीन हड़पने का आरोप है. गिरफ्तार लोगों में अफसर अली, इम्तियाज अहमद, प्रदीप बागची, एमडी सद्दाम हुसैन, तल्हा खान, भानु प्रताप प्रसाद और फैयाज खान हैं. आईएएस अधिकारी (2011 बैच) छवि रंजन के परिसरों पर छापे मारे गए. यह दूसरा मामला है, जब झारखंड कैडर का कोई आईएएस अधिकारी ईडी की जांच के दायरे में आया है. पिछले साल ईडी ने धनशोधन के एक मामले में आईएएस अधिकारी पूजा सिंघल के खिलाफ छापेमारी करने के बाद गिरफ्तार किया था.
New Delhi: Seven people have been arrested after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches at 20 places in West Bengal, Jharkhand on Thursday. All of them are accused of usurping government and defense land. Among those arrested are Afsar Ali, Imtiaz Ahmed, Pradeep Bagchi, MD Saddam Hussain, Talha Khan, Bhanu Pratap Prasad and Fayaz Khan. The premises of IAS officer (2011 batch) Chhavi Ranjan were raided. This is the second case, when an IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre has come under the scanner of ED. Last year, the ED had arrested IAS officer Pooja Singhal after conducting raids in a money laundering case.
