पश्चिम सिंहभूम जिला अंतर्गत खूंटपानी प्रखंड में गरिमा केंद्र का उद्घाटनश्री सिद्धार्थ होनहागा के द्वारा फीता काटकर किया गया।

पश्चिम सिंहभूम जिला अंतर्गत खूंटपानी प्रखंड में गरिमा केंद्र का उद्घाटन प्रखंड परिसर में, प्रखंड प्रमुख श्री सिद्धार्थ होनहागा के द्वारा फीता काटकर किया गया। इस गरिमा केन्द्र का मुख्य उद्देश्य डायन हिंसा से पीड़ित महिलाओं को जेएसएलपीएस आजीविका से जोड़ना ,कानूनी सहायता मानसिक स्वास्थ्य सेवा देना ,सामाजिक सुरक्षा दिलाना ,सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ दिलाना और समाज में सम्मानजनक जीवन यापन जीने में सहयोग दिलाना है। प्रखंड प्रमुख श्री सिद्धार्थ होनहागा ने कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए कहा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला न्याय दिवस के उपलक्ष में सभी महिलाओं को झारखंडी जोहार से संबोधित किया। जेएसएलपीएस के समूह के दीदियों को डायन प्रथा से जंग लड़ने के लिए अनेक रास्ते का सुझाव दिए, तथा भरपूर सहयोग करने का इच्छा जाहिर किए, समूह के दीदियों को शिक्षा से भी जुड़े रहने के लिए निर्देश दिए, और अंधविश्वास पर भरोसा ना करने के लिए कहा। अगर प्रखंड में कोई भी पंचायत या गांव में डायन प्रथा से लेकर संबंधित किसी भी महिला पर आरोप लगाते हैं, तो उसे कानूनन अपराध माना जाएगा। डायन प्रथा का संज्ञान किसी भी महिला को देने पर सरकार के द्वारा कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। प्रखंड प्रमुख श्री सिद्धार्थ होनहागा ने समूह के दीदियों को नशा मुक्त अभियान चलाने को भी कहा, मौके पर जिला परिषद सदस्य यमुना तियू ने महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनने को कहा, महिलाओं पर अत्याचार होने से कानून के सलाह लेने को कहा घरेलू हिंसा पर भी कानून का सलाह लेने को कहा। इस कार्यक्रम में प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी श्री जागो महतो के द्वारा उपस्थित समूह के दीदियों को डायन कुप्रथा को दूर भगाने का सुझाव दिया। अंचल अधिकारी रवि कुमार आनंद ने भी डायन प्रथा को जड़ से खत्म करने का सभी पंचायत और गांव के ग्रामीणों को निर्देश दिए। डालसा के अधिवक्ता के द्वारा भी महिलाओं को डायन प्रथा पर महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव दिए और डालसा के द्वारा कानूनी सलाह लेने का भी निर्देश दिए, इस मौके पर जेएसएलपीएस के सभी दीदी उपस्थित थे, प्रखंड शिक्षा पदाधिकारी ,प्रखंड चिकित्सक प्रसार पदाधिकारी ,सामाजिक विकास पदाधिकारी, डालसा के अधिवक्ता ,प्रखंड कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक जेएसएलपीएस और प्रखंड के विभिन्न पंचायत से समूह के सदस्य उपस्थित थे।

Garima Kendra in Khuntpani block under West Singhbhum district was inaugurated in the block premises by the block chief Mr. Siddharth Honhaga by cutting the ribbon. The main objective of this Garima Kendra is to connect women suffering from witch violence with JSLPS livelihood, provide legal aid, mental health services, provide social security, get benefits of government schemes and help them live a respectable life in the society. Addressing the program, Block Chief Mr. Siddharth Honhaga said that on the occasion of International Women’s Justice Day, addressed all the women with Jharkhandi Johar. Didis of the group of JSLPS suggested various ways to fight the war against witchcraft, and expressed their desire to cooperate fully, instructed the didis of the group to stay connected with education as well, and not to rely on superstition. Said. If any panchayat or village in the block accuses any woman related to witchcraft, then it will be considered a legal crime. Legal action will be taken by the government on giving cognizance of witchcraft to any woman. Block chief Mr. Siddharth Honhaga also asked the sisters of the group to run a drug-free campaign, on the occasion, Zilla Parishad member Yamuna Tiyu asked women to become self-reliant, asked to take advice from the law due to atrocities on women, law on domestic violence as well asked for advice. In this program, Block Development Officer Mr. Jago Mahato suggested to the sisters present in the group to drive away the practice of witchcraft. Circle officer Ravi Kumar Anand also instructed all the panchayats and the villagers of the village to root out the practice of witchcraft. Dalsa’s advocate also gave important suggestions to women on witchcraft and also instructed them to take legal advice through Dalsa, all sisters of JSLPS were present on this occasion, Block Education Officer, Block Medical Dissemination Officer, Social Development Officer, Dalsa Advocates, block program manager JSLPS and group members from different panchayats of the block were present.
