Dhanbad Fire Accident: पूर्व पीएम एचडी देवेगौड़ा की रिश्तेदार थी डॉ. प्रेमा, उनके लिए रुकवाया गया था प्लेन
धनबाद। झारखंड के धनबाद जिले के आरसी हाजरा मेमोरियल अस्पताल में हुए अग्निकांड में डॉक्टर दंपती सहित छह लोगों की जान चली गई। डॉक्टर दंपती विकास हाजरा और प्रेमा ने प्रेम विवाह किया था। प्रेमा कर्नाटक के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री एचडी देवेगौड़ा के करीबी रिश्तेदार थीं। यह बात शादी के दौरान विकास हाजरा को पता चली तो वह अचंभित रह गए।
हंसमुख स्वभाव के डॉ. विकास हाजरा और प्रेमा की शादी की कहानी काफी दिलचस्प है। बंगाली परिवार से आने वाले विकास पढ़ाई के दौरान डॉ. प्रेमा के संपर्क में आए। प्रेमा दक्षिण परिवार से जुड़ी थीं। करीब तीन साल लंबे कोर्टशिप के बाद दोनों ने 1990 में शादी करने का फैसला किया। जब घर वालों को दोनों की लव स्टोरी पता चली तो पहले उन्होंने मना किया लेकिन बाद में काफी समझाने के बाद घरवाले मान गए। जिसके बाद दोनों की शादी हुई।
प्रेमा के लिए एचडी देवगौड़ा ने रुकवा दिया था प्लेन
डॉ. विकास हाजरा और प्रेमा की शादी के दौरान ऐसी घटना घटी कि डॉक्टर विकास अचंभे में पड़ गए। हुआ यूं कि शादी के बाद विदाई के समय डॉ. विकास हाजरा को मिलने वाले उपहार और आभूषण छूट गया था। इसे लाने के लिए एचडी. देवेगौड़ा के पहल पर बेंगलुरू हवाई अडडे पर फ्लाइट को करीब दो घंटे के लिए रोका गया। तब विकास को पता चला कि उनकी पत्नी कर्नाटक के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री एचडी देवेगौड़ा के करीबी रिश्तेदार हैं।
1978 में किया था मैट्रिक पास
छह भाई बहनों में सबसे बड़े होने के कारण डॉ. विकास हाजरा को लोग ‘बड़ो दा’ के नाम से भी पुकारते थे। इनकी स्कूली शिक्षा धनबाद के डिगावडीग डिनोबली स्कूल से हुई थी। उनके सहपाठी जेडी कुमार उर्फ बाबी पुराने दिनों की याद करते हुए बताते हैं कि दोनों ने एक ही साथ पढ़ाई शुरू की। 1978 में मैट्रिक पास करने के बाद विकास उच्च शिक्षा के लिए मुंबई चला गया, जब डाक्टर बनकर आया तो फिर से हमलोगों का मिलना जारी था। इस अग्निकांड में हमने सुख-दुख के अच्छे साथी को खो दिया।
मायके वाले ने की चालक प्रमोद से बात
डॉ. प्रेमा हाजरा का मायका बेंगलुरू में है। परिजनों ने हादसे की सूचना उन्हें फोन पर दी थी। उन्हें विश्वास ही नहीं हुआ कि इस तरह की कोई घटना घटी है। मायका से डॉ. प्रेमा के रिश्तेदारों ने डॉ. विकास हाजरा के घर में चालक का काम करने वाले प्रमोद से फोन पर बात कर जानकारी ली। तब उन्हें विश्वास हुआ और उन्होंने कहा कि हम लोग आ रहे हैं।

Being the eldest of six siblings, people used to call Dr. Vikas Hazra by the name of ‘Bado Da’. He did his schooling from Digavdig Dinobali School in Dhanbad. Recalling the old days, their classmate JD Kumar alias Babi says that both of them started studying together. After passing matriculation in 1978, Vikas went to Mumbai for higher education, when he came as a doctor, we continued to meet again. We lost a good friend of happiness and sorrow in this fire.
Dr. Prema Hazra’s maternal uncle is in Bangalore. The relatives informed him about the accident over phone. They could not believe that such an incident had happened. Relatives of Dr. Prema from Mayka got information by talking to Pramod, who works as a driver in Dr. Vikas Hazra’s house. Then they believed and said that we are coming.
