जमशेदपुर: धनबाद के आर्शीवाद टावर में मंगलवार शाम को आग लगने की घटना मेंं लोगों के झुलसने से मौत के बाद जमशेदपुर में इस बात की चर्चा शुरू हो गई कि शहर में अधिकतर बहुमंजिला इमारतों में आग लगने पर उसके बचाव के उपाय नहीं है। अगर इमारतों में आग लगी तो क्या होगा। थोड़ी सी अनदेखी भयावह रूप ले सकती है।

अग्निशमन विभाग के मानकों का पालन कुछ ही आवासीय कालोनियों और अपार्टमेंट में है। विभाग के पास चार मंजिल तक आग बुझाने लायक दमकल उपलब्ध है। यदि इससे ऊपर की मंजिल में आग लगी तो स्थिति भयावह हो सकती है।
