रांची. झारखंड के गिरिडीह जिला स्थित जैन धर्म के तीर्थ सम्मेद शिखर विवाद के मामले में झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री हेमन्त सोरेन ने हस्तक्षेप किया है. सीएम ने केंद्रीय मंत्री पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन विभाग भूपेंद्र यादव को पत्र लिखा है. इस पत्र में सीएम ने जैन अनुयायियों की धार्मिक भावनाओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए समुचित निर्णय लेने का आग्रह किया है .
पारसनाथ जैन समुदाय का पवित्र एवं पूजनीय तीर्थ स्थल
मुख्यमंत्री ने पत्र के माध्यम से कहा है कि पारसनाथ सम्मेद शिखर पौराणिक काल से जैन समुदाय का विश्व प्रसिद्ध पवित्र एवं पूजनीय तीर्थ स्थल है. मान्यता के अनुसार इस स्थान पर जैन धर्म के कुल 24 तीर्थकरों में से 20 तीर्थकरों द्वारा निर्वाण प्राप्त किया गया है. इस स्थल के जैन धार्मिक महत्व के कारण भारत एवं विश्व के कोने-कोने से जैन धर्मावलंबी इस स्थान का तीर्थ करने आते हैं .अतएव झारखण्ड पर्यटन नीति 2021 में पारसनाथ को तीर्थ स्थल मानते हुए इस स्थल को धार्मिक तीर्थ क्षेत्र के रूप में विकसित करने का उल्लेख है .पूर्व में भी इस स्थल की पवित्रता अक्षुण्ण रखने हेतु राज्य सरकार द्वारा प्रतिबद्धता जारी किया गया है .

Ranchi. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has intervened in the matter of Sammed Shikhar pilgrimage of Jainism located in Giridih district of Jharkhand. The CM has written a letter to Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department Bhupendra Yadav. In this letter, CM has urged to take appropriate decision keeping in mind the religious sentiments of Jain followers.
Holy and revered pilgrimage site of Parasnath Jain community
The Chief Minister has said through the letter that the Parasnath Sammed Shikhar is a world famous holy and worshipable pilgrimage site of the Jain community since mythological times. According to belief, Nirvana has been attained by 20 Tirthankaras out of total 24 Tirthankaras of Jainism at this place. Due to the Jain religious importance of this place, Jain devotees from every corner of India and the world come to visit this place. Therefore, considering Parasnath as a pilgrimage site in Jharkhand Tourism Policy 2021, it is proposed to develop this place as a religious pilgrimage area. It is mentioned. In the past also a commitment has been issued by the state government to keep the sanctity of this place intact.
