रांची: झारखंड के गिरिडीह जिले में बकरियां चुराने के आरोप में उग्र भीड़ ने 32 साल के एक व्यक्ति की कथित तौर पर पीट-पीट कर हत्या कर दी. पुलिस ने रविवार को यह जानकारी दी.पुलिस के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने कहा कि यह घटना जिले के मुफस्सिल थाना क्षेत्र के आदिवासी बहुल गांव सादी गवांरो में शनिवार रात को हुई.मृतक की पहचान इसी थाना क्षेत्र के सिमरिया गांव निवासी विनोद चौधरी के रूप में हुई है.

गिरिडीह के अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी (एसडीपीओ) अनिल कुमार सिंह ने बताया, ”वह सादी गवांरो गांव में बकरियां चुराने गया था. शनिवार की रात जब वह बकरियों को एक घर से खोल रहा था तो इसकी जानकारी ग्रामीणों को हो गई,जिन्होंने उसे पीट-पीट कर मार डाला.” ग्रामीणों का आरोप है कि चौधरी कई वारदात में शामिल रहा था.एसडीपीओ ने कहा कि मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है और पुलिस हत्या में शामिल लोगों की पहचान करने की कोशिश कर रही है.
