सरायकेला खरसावां के अंतर्गत मंगलवार को बिपतारिणी की पूजा पूरी विधि विधान से की गई इस दौरान सुबह से ही महिलाओं की भीड़ मौसी बाड़ी खरसावां के प्रसिद्ध तारापीठ मंदिर में महिलाएं व्रत रखते हैं 13 प्रकार के फल, फुल, 13 पान पत्ता, मिष्ठान का भोग लगाकर पूरी भक्ति भाव से पूजा की जानकारी है कि माता बिपतारिणी की पूजा रथ यात्रा मंगलवार और शनिवार को होती है अपने संत और परिवार के सुख समृद्धि की कामना के साथ एक दूसरे की है मांग में सिंदूर लगाकर सदा सुहागन बनी रहने की भी कामना की जाती है ऐसा कहा जाता है कि इस पूजा की करने से घर परिवार में संकट दूर हो जाती है इस पूजा की माताएं करते हैं माताएं अपने अपने घर के प्रत्येक सदस्य के नाम पर बाजू में बांधने के लिए अलग-अलग डेरी को पूजा स्थल पर रखते हैं इस दौरान पुजारी ने मां बिपतारिणी की व्रत कथा भी कहीं जाती है
