Buckling of track between Koderma and Paharpur disrupts trains movements today
Gaya (April 26,2023) By Wakeel Ahmad.Train movement disrupted due to buckling of track between Koderma and Paharpur near Nathgunj station at 11.15 a.m today, leaving many express trains stranded at different stations for about three hours.
आज सुबह 11.15 बजे नाथगंज स्टेशन के पास कोडरमा और पहाड़पुर के बीच ट्रैक के जाम हो जाने से ट्रेनों की आवाजाही बाधित हो गई, जिससे कई एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनें लगभग तीन घंटे तक विभिन्न स्टेशनों पर फंसी रहीं.
गर्मी के कारण 50 मीटर ट्रैक के बकल होने से अपलाइन पर तीन घंटे तक ट्रेनों का परिचालन बुरी तरह प्रभावित रहा। नतीजतन, कई ट्रेनें देरी से चलती हैं, कई ट्रेनें छूट जाती हैं
अलग-अलग स्टेशनों पर फंसे दिलवा स्टेशन पर हटिया एक्सप्रेस, कोडरमा में पुरुषोत्तम एक्सप्रेस और आसनसोल पैसेंजर कई घंटों तक गजंधी में रुकी रहीं।

Buckling of 50 meters of tracks due to heat severely affected train movement for three hours on Upline. As a result,many trains get delayed,leaving many trains
stranded at different stations. To name a few, Hatia Express on Dilwa Station, Purushottam Express at Koderma and Asansol- passenger stopped at Gajhandhi for many hours.
The report of buckling of tracks was informed by Patrolling staffs to Gajhandhi Station.
It is said that buckling of tracks took place the first time on this route. Luckily, no train passed on the track when it all happened and major tragedy was averted. The time it happened Hatia Patna and Sahara Express were scheduled to pass on the track. However, railway staff were pressed into service to repair the fault caused due to twisting of tracks. After that railway track was fixed promptly by the rail track man and movement of the train was restored till 1.30 pm. But it leaves a question mark on the credibility and recklessness of the Railways ministry. Milliln dollar question arises as to who is responsible for the sorry state of affairs. A great tragedy could have happened if news of buckling of tracks was not passed on promptly by Patrolling staffs.
