* विश्व आदिवासी दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित हुई जिला स्तरीय खेल प्रतियोगिता*

खेलकूद एवं युवा कार्य निदेशालय झारखंड , रांची एवं जिला प्रशासन पूर्वी सिंहभूम के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में विश्व आदिवासी दिवस के अवसर पर जिला में जनजाति खिलाड़ियों के बीच एथलेटिक्स, हॉकी, तीरंदाजी और फुटबॉल प्रतियोगता खेला गया। नवल टाटा हॉकी अकादमी में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उप विकास आयुक्त श्री मनीष कुमार,
विशिष्ट अतिथि अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी धालभूम श्री पीयूष सिन्हा, सम्मानित अतिथि के रुप में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय एथलिट बुधवा उरांव, वीर धन मरांडी ने मौजूद रहकर खिलाड़ियों की हौसला अफजाई की तथा विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत करते हुए उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाएं दी। वहीं जेआरडी स्पोर्ट्स कंपलेक्स में आयोजित एथलेटिक्स प्रतियोगिता में अंतरराष्ट्रीय एथलीट बुधवा उरांव, अंतरराष्ट्रीय एथलीट वीर धन मरांडी, तीनप्लेट स्पोर्ट्स ग्राउंड में आयोजित फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता में अंतरराष्ट्रीय एथलीट बुधवा उरांव ने विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत किया।
चारों प्रतियोगिता में जिला के निबंधित आदिवासी पुरुष और महिला खिलाड़ी ने अपने अपने खेल स्पर्धा में सफलतापूर्वक भाग लेते हुए अपने खेल प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करते हुए कई पुरस्कार जीते।

एथलेटिक्स और तीरंदाजी खेल का आयोजन जमशेदपुर के जेआरडी स्पोर्ट्स कांप्लेक्स में संपन्न हुआ, जबकि हॉकी प्रतियोगिता नवल टाटा हॉकी स्टेडियम, इंदिरा नगर में और फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता टिनप्लेट स्पोर्ट्स स्टेडियम ” में खेला गया। चारों खेलों के सफलतापूर्वक समापन के उपरांत मुख्य अतिथि एवं विशिष्ट अतिथियों के द्वारा “फुटबॉल ” और “हॉकी” खेलों के विजेता , उपविजेता, द्वितीय उपविजेता टीम को क्रमशः ट्रॉफी और 21000/- , 15000/- एवं 11000/- रुपए पुरस्कार
एवं ‘ एथलेटिक्स ‘ और ‘ तीरंदाजी ‘ की स्पर्धाओं के व्यक्तिगत श्रेणी में प्रथम पुरस्कार के रूप में ₹5000/- एवं स्वर्ण पदक, द्वितीय पुरस्कार ₹3000/- रजत पदक और तृतीय पुरस्कार ₹2000/- कांस्य पदक प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर उप विकास आयुक्त श्री मनीष कुमार ने विश्व आदिवासी दिवस के मौके पर खिलाड़ियों को अपनी शुभकामना दिया और बेहतर आयोजन के लिए जिला खेल विभाग पूर्वी सिंहभूम, नवल टाटा हॉकी अकादमी, जेआरडी स्पोर्ट्स कंपलेक्स, टीनप्लेट स्पोर्ट्स स्टेडियम, और जेआरडी स्थित तीरंदाजी खेल परिसर में आयोजन हेतु सहयोगी खेल संस्थाओं को बधाई दिया । उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे जीवन मे खेल कूद काफी महत्वपूर्ण है, एक दूसरे के बीच प्रतिस्पर्धा के साथ आपसी समन्वय से कैसे लक्ष्य को हासिल करना है इसकी सीख मिलती है।
इस अवसर पर जिला योजना पदाधिकारी श्री अरुण द्विवेदी , जिला कल्याण पदाधिकारी श्री राजेश पांडेय, जिला खेल पदाधिकारी श्री अविनेश त्रिपाठी, टाटा स्टील खेल विभाग के मैनेजर सह अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रशिक्षक (हैंडबॉल)हसन मलिक इमाम मौजूद रहे।

Under the joint aegis of Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs Jharkhand, Ranchi and District Administration East Singhbhum, on the occasion of World Tribal Day, athletics, hockey, archery and football competition was played among tribal players in the district. Special Guest Subdivision Officer Dhalbhum Mr. Piyush Sinha, International Athlete Budhwa Oraon, Veer Dhan Marandi as guest of honor encouraged the players by being present and while awarding the winners, wished them a bright future. While international athlete Budhwa Oraon, international athlete Veer Dhan Marandi in the athletics competition held at JRD Sports Complex, international athlete Budhwa Oraon awarded the winners in the football competition held at Teenplate Sports Ground.
In all the four competitions, registered tribal men and women players of the district participated successfully in their respective sports events and displayed their sports talent and won many prizes.

Athletics and Archery events were held at JRD Sports Complex, Jamshedpur, while Hockey events were played at Naval Tata Hockey Stadium, Indira Nagar and Football events were played at “Tinplate Sports Stadium”.
