भाजपा सरायकेला विधानसभा के संयोजक एवं नगर पंचायत के पूर्व उपाध्यक्ष ने गांधी जयंती के अवसर पर चलाया सफाई अभियान भाजपा नेता सह सरायकेला नगर पंचायत के पूर्व उपाध्यक्ष मनोज कुमार चौधरी महात्मा गांधी और लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की जयंती के मौके पर सोमवार को सरायकेला में स्वच्छता ही सेवा अभियान में शामिल हुए. उन्होंने इस दौरान सफाई में श्रमदान किया और लोगों को स्वच्छ सरायकेला बनाने की अपील की. मनोज चौधरी के के साथ नगर पंचायत की पूर्व अध्यक्षा मीनाक्षी पटनायक चेंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स के अध्यक्ष प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल चिरंजीव महापात्र भाजपा नगर अध्यक्ष बद्री दरोगा, समाज सेवी सुदीप पटनायक सरायकेला विधानसभा के पूर्णकालिक विस्तारक विवेक मोदक महिला नगर अध्यक्ष पिंकी मोदक प्रदेश कार्यसमिति सदस्य रीता दुबे रीना साहू सुभद्रा दास विकास दरोगा, दुखु साहू गणेश महंती मनोरंजन साहू विकास दरोगा मलाई आचार्य देवराज सारंगी अविनाश कवि अविनाश मोहंती कृष्णा राना, बलाल हुसैन समेत काफी संख्या में भाजपाइयों ने सफाई अभियान में योगदान दिया.
सफाई अभियान के बाद भाजपा नेता मनोज चौधरी ने महात्मा गांधी और लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण के बाद लोगों से कहा कि सिर्फ खुद का तन-मन स्वच्छ रखने से काम नहीं चलने वाला. पूरे समाज और परिवेश को स्वच्छ बनाना होगा. उन्होंने कहा कि स्वच्छता गांधी का सपना था. गांधी ने प्लास्टिक मुक्त भारत का सपना भी देखा था. उनकी जयंती पर प्रत्येक लोगों का दायित्व है कि उनके सपने को पूरा करने में प्लास्टिक के इस्तेमाल से परहेज करने का संकल्प लें .
उन्होंने कहा कि महात्मा गांधी सफाई और स्वच्छता को जीवन शैली का अभिन्न अंग मानते थे. उन्होंने नगर वासियों से अपील करते हुए कहा है कि अपने आसपास के क्षेत्र को साफ और स्वच्छ रखें. साफ-सुथरे वातावरण में रहने से मानसिक शांति और सकारात्मकता का माहौल बनता है. साफ-सफाई रखने से गंदगी नहीं होती है और उससे पनपने वाले मच्छरों से बीमारी नहीं फैलती है. सफाई अभियान के बाद नगर पंचायत के पूर्व उपाध्यक्ष मनोज चौधरी सरायकेला स्थित खादी स्टोर गए और कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ हाथ से बने कपड़े खरीदे. उन्होंने कहा कि
स्वदेशी वस्तुएं विशेषकर खादी हमें अपनी संस्कृति व संस्कार से जोड़कर रखती है। आदरणीय मोदी जी की ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ और ‘वोकल फॉर लोकल’ की अपील ने खादी उद्योग में नई जान डाल दी है
और लोगों को अपने देश में ही बने कपड़े और सामान खरीदने की अपील की.
