उत्तराखंड में भारी बारिश से कई स्थानों पर पानी भर गया है, जिसके कारण 90 सड़कें बंद हो गई हैं। स्कूलों में छुट्टियां घोषित की गई हैं और रेड अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।
आईएमडी के पूर्वानुमान के अनुसार, आज नैनीताल, पिथौरागढ़, बागेश्वर, और उधम सिंह नगर जिलों में कई स्थानों पर भारी मात्रा में बारिश की संभावना है।
उत्तर भारत के कई राज्यों में शुक्रवार को हुई भारी बारिश ने लोगों के जीवन में व्याप्त अस्त-व्यस्तता का सबब बना। इसमें हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड जैसे पहाड़ी राज्य भी शामिल हैं। उत्तराखंड में पिछले कुछ दिनों में हुई भारी बारिश से दो लोगों की मौत हो गई है। मौसम विभाग ने 6 और 7 जुलाई के लिए भी रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। इसी दौरान, नैनीताल जिले में आज भी स्कूल बंद रहेंगे जबकि भारी बारिश की संभावना बरकरार रहेगी।
इन जिलों में अत्यधिक भारी बारिश की चेतावनी जारी है।
