लालकृष्ण आडवाणी को जून के महीने में एम्स अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। 27 जून को उन्हें अस्पताल से छुट्टी दे दी गई थी। उनकी मूत्रविज्ञान, हृदयरोग विज्ञान और जेरिएट्रिक मेडिसिन सहित विभिन्न विशेषज्ञों ने जांच की थी। अस्पताल के अधिकारियों ने बताया था कि उन्हें वृद्धावस्था संबंधी बीमारियों के कारण भर्ती कराया गया था।
