पुणे के लोनावाला इलाके में भुशी बांध के पास झरने की दुर्घटना का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है। झरने में बह रहे पांच लोगों के शव सोमवार को बरामद किए गए, जिसमें से एक चार साल के लापता बच्चे का शव शाम को निकाला गया। इस हादसे में पहाड़ी नदी में बह गए परिवार का पता उत्तर प्रदेश के बिजनौर से था। हादसा रविवार को हुआ, जब पानी के तेज बहाव के कारण एक महिला और चार बच्चों सहित पांच लोग बह गए।
मानसून के आने के बाद भुशी बांध और समीपवर्ती पवाना बांध को देखने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक यहां आते हैं। इस समय, बारिश के कारण बांध और झरनों से दूर रहने की चेतावनी भी दी जाती है, लेकिन कई बार पर्यटक इसे अनदेखी करते हैं। यदि परिवार इस चेतावनी को ध्यान में नहीं रखता, तो इससे अनचाही घटनाएँ हो सकती हैं।

एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है जिसमें दिख रहा है कि झरने के पास नौ से 10 लोग एक दूसरे को पकड़े हुए हैं, लेकिन पानी के तेज बहाव के कारण उनकी पकड़ में कमजोरी आई। इसके बाद एक महिला, एक लड़की और एक लड़का पानी में बह गए।

पुणे के हडपसर में स्थित सैय्यद नगर के 16-17 लोग भुशी बांध के पास झरने देखने गए थे, जहां भारी बारिश के कारण जलस्तर बढ़ गया और 5 लोगों की मौत हो गई। उन्हें एक पत्थर में फंसना पड़ा जब जलस्तर तेजी से बढ़ गया और उन्हें पानी में बह गया। इस हादसे की सूचना सुनकर उनके परिवार के सदस्य पुणे पहुंच गए हैं, और इससे उनके गांव में भी दुख की लहर छाई है।
