*उमा अस्पताल में शव की एक आंख गायब, परिजनों ने किया हंगामा।*
चांडिल : जमशेदपुर के डिमना और पारडीह के बीच स्थित उमा अस्पताल में इलाज के क्रम में मृत व्यक्ति की आंख गायब हो गई. इस कारण गुरुवार को अस्पताल में परिजनों ने जमकर हंगामा किया. मृतक के परिजनों ने अस्पताल प्रबंधन पर मृतक की आंख निकाल लेने का आरोप लगाया है. वहीं अस्पताल प्रबंधन की ओर से आशंका जताई गई है कि मृतक की आंख को चूहे के द्वारा कुतरा गया है. मामला चाहे जो भी हो इतना तो तय है कि अस्पताल में शव की आंख गायब हो जा रही है और अस्पताल प्रबंधन को इसकी भनक तक नहीं लगती है. अस्पताल में इलाजरत मरीज या इलाज के क्रम में मरने वाले के प्रति प्रबंधन की इतनी बड़ी लापरवाही से लोगों में आक्रोश है. इस संबंध में पूर्वी सिंहभूम जिले के सिविल सर्जन डॉ. जुझार माझी ने कहा कि उन्हें इस मामले में किसी प्रकार की जानकारी नहीं है. वे सुबह से एक मीटिंग में थे. मामले की जानकारी लेकर आवश्यकता के अनुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी. उन्होंने कहा कि अगर ऐसा हुआ है तो यह अस्पताल प्रबंधन की घोर लापरवाही है.
*क्या है मामला जाने*
सरायकेला-खरसावां जिले के कुकड़ू प्रखंड स्थित काडरगमा निवासी सहदेव महतो (30) नीमडीह थाना क्षेत्र के मुरु गांव के सामने अपनी बाइक से दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गए थे. दुर्घटना के बाद नीमडीह थाना की पुलिस उसे इलाज के लिए सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र नीमडीह पहुंचाया. जहां से उसे बेहतर इलाज के लिए एमजीएम अस्पताल जमशेदपुर भेजा गया. परिजनों ने उसे एमजीएम अस्पताल से रांची स्थित रिम्स ले गए. सही इलाज नहीं होने की बात कहते हुए परिजनों ने उसे वापस जमशेदपुर लाकर उमा अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया. इलाज के क्रम में बुधवार की रात उसकी मृत्यु हो गई. अस्पताल प्रबंधन ने बुधवार की रात को ही परिजनों को उसकी शव ले जाने के लिए कहा. परिजनों ने रात को शव ले जाने में असमर्थता जताई और सुबह तक अस्पताल में ही रखने का आग्रह किया. गुरुवार की सुबह जब उसके परिजन शव लेने पहुंचे तो देखा कि उसकी दाहिनी आंख ही गायब है. इसके बाद अस्पताल में हो-हंगामा शुरू हो गया.
सुलह करने की कोशिश नाकाम
मृतक की आंख गायब रहने की सूचना मिलते ही बड़ी संख्या में लोग अस्पताल पहुंचे और अस्पताल प्रबंधन पर मृतक की आंख निकालने का आरोप लगाया. हंगामे के बीच अस्पताल प्रबंधन की ओर से मृतक के परिजन और हंगामा करने वालों के साथ बात की. इस दौरान अस्पताल प्रबंधन की ओर से मृतक के तीन बच्चों के नाम डेढ़-डेढ़ लाख रुपये और श्राद्ध कर्म के लिए पचास हजार रुपये देने की पेशकश की. वार्ता चल ही रही थी कि सोशल मीडिया पर मामला हाइलाइट हो गया. इसके बाद उलीडीह थाना की पुलिस ने इस मामले में प्राथमिकी दर्ज किए जाने की बात कही. पुलिस मामला दर्ज करने के साथ मृतक के शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए एमजीएम अस्पताल भेजने की प्रक्रिया पूरी कर रही थी.
*एसएसपी कार्यालय पहुंचे परिजन :*
इस मामले में मृतक के परिजनों ने एसएसपी से लिखित शिकायत की है. शिकायत में अस्पताल प्रबंधन पर मरीज की आंख निकाल कर हत्या करने का आरोप लगाया गया है. मृतक सहदेव महतो के भाई शिवदेव महतो ने शिकायत में कहा है कि उनका भाई 29 जुलाई की रात में एक सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल हो गए थे. जिसके बाद उन्हें रात में ही डिमना रोड स्थित उमा सुपर स्पेशियलिटी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था. अगले दिन दो अगस्त को सहदेव महतो को अस्पताल ने मृत घोषित कर दिया. इसकी सूचना परिजनों को दी गई. परिजन अस्पताल पहुंचकर जब शव को घर ले जाने लगे तो शव से खून गिरता देख उन्हें गड़बड़ी का आभास हुआ. उन्होंने जब शव को अच्छे से देखा तो शव से दाहिना आंख गायब था एवं चेहरे पर पट्टी बंधी हुई थी. परिजनों ने अस्पताल प्रबंधन पर आंख निकाल कर हत्या किए जाने की आशंका जताई है एवं इस मामले की उच्च स्तरीय जांच की मांग की है. परिजनों ने शव का पोस्टमार्टम सक्षम पदाधिकारी एवं मृतक के परिजनों की उपस्थिति में वीडियोग्राफी के साथ कराने की भी मांग की है

Sahdev Mahato (30), a resident of Kadargama in Kukdu block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, met with an accident on his bike in front of Muru village under Neemdih police station area. After the accident, the police of Neemdih police station took him to the Community Health Center in Neemdih for treatment. From where he was sent to MGM Hospital Jamshedpur for better treatment. The relatives took him from MGM Hospital to RIMS, Ranchi. Saying that there was no proper treatment, the relatives brought him back to Jamshedpur and admitted him to Uma Hospital. He died on Wednesday night during treatment. The hospital management asked the relatives to take his dead body on Wednesday night itself. The relatives expressed their inability to take the dead body at night and requested to keep it in the hospital till morning. On Thursday morning, when his relatives reached to collect the dead body, they saw that only his right eye was missing. After this, commotion started in the hospital.

The talks were going on that the matter got highlighted on social media. After this, the police of Ulidih police station said that an FIR would be registered in this matter. Along with registering the case, the police was completing the process of sending the dead body to MGM Hospital for post-mortem.
* Relatives reached SSP office :*
In this case, the relatives of the deceased have made a written complaint to the SSP. In the complaint, the hospital management has been accused of killing the patient by gouging out his eyes. Shivdev Mahato, brother of the deceased Sahdev Mahato, has said in the complaint that his brother was injured in a road accident on the night of 29 July. After which he was admitted to Uma Super Specialty Hospital on Dimna Road in the night itself. The next day, on August 2, Sahdev Mahato was declared dead by the hospital. This information was given to the relatives. When the relatives started taking the dead body home after reaching the hospital, they realized something wrong when they saw blood falling from the dead body. When he saw the dead body properly, the right eye was missing from the dead body and the bandage was tied on the face. The relatives have expressed apprehension that the hospital management may be murdered by gouging out their eyes and have demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter. The relatives have also demanded the post-mortem of the dead body with videography in the presence of the competent authority and the relatives of the deceased.
