The result for five MLC constituencies has been announced today by the State Election Commissioner. Mahagathbandhan candidate Virendra Narayan Yadav has won the Saran Graduate constituency. However, BJP candidate Jeevan Kumar has defeated JDU candidate Sanjeev Shyam in Gaya Teacher’s constituency. However, in the Kosi Teacher’s constituency JDU candidate Sanjeev Shyam has become victorious. In Saran Teacher’s constituency Prashant Kishore-backed candidate Afaque Ahmad has done magic by winning the seat.
A total of 48 candidates were in the fray across five seats
The election was conducted peacefully on March 31,2023 across five seats in Bihar. The election was conducted amid tight security using ballot paper method for the voting in Bihar MLC. About 84.08 percent voters turnout was recorded in the just concluded election.
