कदमा मैरिन ड्राइव में रैपिडो के चालक से मारपीट और छिनतई*
जमशेदपुर (झारखंड) 26 मई 2023:–कदमा सोनारी मैरिन ड्राइव रोड में आए दिन लूटपाट और छिनतई का मामला सामने आ रहा है. मामला यह है कि रैपीडो का बाइक चालक प्रिंस वर्मा जो कि जुगसलाई नया बाजार का रहने वाला है उसने एक ऑनलाइन बुकिंग के जरिए बिस्टूपुर से कदमा मैरिन ड्राइव में छोड़ा। बुकिंग के अनुसार उनके निर्धारित स्थान ( शराब दुकान) के पास छोड़ने के बाद जब वो वापस आने लगा तो कुछ असामाजिक तत्वों द्वारा गाड़ी रुकवा कर पैसे मांगने लगे। पैसा नहीं देने पर उसके जेब में पूरी दिन की कमाई लगभग ₹4000 रुपए छीन लिए। विरोध करने पर युवकों ने उसके साथ मारपीट की। मारपीट के दौरान फोन करके कुछ और लोगों को बुलाकर हेलमेट,बोतल और बेल्ट के सहारे चालक प्रिंस को पीटा गया। पास के ही सीसीटीवी कैमरे के फुटेज से पता चला कि मारपीट करने वाले 6 से अधिक लोग शामिल थे।

The case is that the bike driver of Rapido, Prince Verma, a resident of Jugsalai Naya Bazar, dropped him from Bistupur to Kadma Marine Drive through an online booking. As per the booking, after dropping him near the designated place (liquor shop), when he started coming back, some anti-social elements stopped the car and started asking for money. On not giving the money, they took away the whole day’s earnings of about ₹ 4000 in his pocket. On protesting, the youths beat him up. During the fight, the driver Prince was beaten up with the help of helmet, bottle and belt by calling some more people. Footage from a nearby CCTV camera showed that more than 6 people were involved in the fracas.
