बांग्लादेश सत्ता में फिर से शेख हसीना…
बांग्लादेश में हुये चुनाव में प्रधानमंत्री शेख हसीना की पार्टी ने शानदार जीत हासिल की है। वे लगातार चौथी बार PM होंगी। यह उनका पांचवा कार्यकाल होगा। छिटपुट हिंसा के बीच हुये आम चुनाव में अवामी लीग ने करीब 170 निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में जीत हासिल की है। वहीं जातीय पार्टी ने 10 सीटें और 45 सीटों पर निर्दलीय उम्मीदवारों ने जीत हासिल की है। अनौपचारिक परिणामों का हवाला देते हुए ढाका ट्रिब्यून अखबार में छपी खबर के अनुसार रविवार शाम को मतदान खत्म हुआ। इसके साथ ही मतगणना भी शुरू हो गई थी। मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त काजी हबीबुल अवाल के हवाले से बताया गया कि मतदान करीब चालीस फीसदी रहा।
मतदान समाप्त होने से एक घटे पहले आयोग ने कहा था कि दोपहर तीन बजे तक 27.15 फीसदी मतदान हुआ। साल 2018 के आम चुनाव में 80 फीसदी से अधिक मतदान दर्ज किया गया था। 300 निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में से 299 में मतदान काफी हद तक शांतिपूर्ण रहा। आयोग ने एक उम्मीदवार की मौत के कारण एक सीट पर मतदान स्थगित कर दिया।मीडिया रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, प्रधानमंत्री हसीना ने मतदान शुरू होने के तुरंत बाद ढाका सिटी कॉलेज मतदान केंद्र पर अपना वोट डाला। उनकी बेटी साइमा वाजिद भी उनके साथ थीं। हसीना 2009 से सत्ता में हैं और उनकी अवामी लीग ने दिसंबर 2018 में पिछला चुनाव जीता था। वह प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में लगातार चौथे कार्यकाल और पांचवां कार्यकाल हासिल करने के लिए तैयार हैं।
Sheikh Hasina back in power in Bangladesh…
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s party has won a landslide victory in the elections held in Bangladesh. She will be PM for the fourth consecutive time. This will be his fifth term. The Awami League has won about 170 constituencies in the general elections held amid sporadic violence. Whereas Jatiya Party has won 10 seats and independent candidates have won 45 seats. Voting ended on Sunday evening, the Dhaka Tribune newspaper reported citing unofficial results. With this the counting of votes had also started.
Chief Election Commissioner Qazi Habibul Awal was quoted as saying that the voting was around forty percent. An hour before the end of voting, the Commission had said that till 3 pm, 27.15 percent voting took place. More than 80 percent voting was recorded in the 2018 general elections. Voting was largely peaceful in 299 out of 300 constituencies. The Commission postponed voting on one seat due to the death of a candidate.According to media reports, Prime Minister Hasina cast her vote at the Dhaka City College polling station soon after the voting began. His daughter Saima Wajid was also with him. Hasina has been in power since 2009 and her Awami League won the last election in December 2018. He is set to secure a fourth consecutive term and fifth term as Prime Minister.
