अरविंद केजरीवाल : सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल की जमानत अवधि बढ़ाने की याचिका खारिज कर दी है, जिससे उन्हें राहत नहीं मिली। कोर्ट ने कहा कि उन्हें दो जून को सरेंडर करना होगा। केजरीवाल ने स्वास्थ्य कारणों का हवाला देते हुए अपनी जमानत अवधि सात दिन बढ़ाने की अपील की थी, लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बुधवार को इसे अस्वीकार कर दिया। उनके वकील मनु सिंघवी ने स्वास्थ्य कारणों के आधार पर यह याचिका दायर की थी।
चुनाव प्रचार के लिए 1 जून तक मिली थी बेल
गौरतलब है कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अरविंद केजरीवाल को शराब घोटाला मामले में एक जून तक बेल दे दी थी. कोर्ट ने सुनवाई के दौरान यह कहा था कि अरविंद केजरीवाल आदतन अपराधी नहीं हैं और लोकसभा चुनाव पांच साल में एक बार होने वाला इवेंट है, इसलिए उन्हें अपने पार्टी के प्रचार के लिए मौका दिया जाना चाहिए. कोर्ट ने यह कहते हुए बेल दिया था कि उन्हें प्रचार का अधिकार मिलना चाहिए.है
