मुंबई से नवी मुंबई को जोड़ेगा यह पुलपीएम मोदी देश के सबसे बड़े समुद्री पुल को तोहफा आज मुंबई को देंगे. इस 22 किलोमीटर लंबे पुल से मुंबई से नवी मुंबई की दूरी तय करने में महज 20 मिनट लगेंगे. इसके उद्घाटन के बाद लोगों का दो घंटे का सफर मात्र 20 मिनट में तय होगा.इस पुल का पूरा नाम अटल बिहारी वाजपेई शिवडी न्हावाशेवा अटल सेतु (एमटीएचएल) है.दरअसल भारत के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी के नाम पर इसका नाम अटल सेतु रखा गया है. ये देश का सबसे लंबा समुद्री ब्रिज होगा, जिसकी लंबाई 21.8 किलोमीटर होगी. ये 6 लेन वाला रोड ब्रिज है. इस पुल का 16.5 किलोमीटर हिस्सा मुंबई के समुद्र के ऊपर और 5.5 किलोमीटर हिस्सा जमीन के ऊपर बना है. पिछले गुरुवार को कैबिनेट की बैठक में एमटीएचएल की टोल की दरों को महाराष्ट्र सरकार की मंजूरी मिल गई है.
