Eight bands are included in this auction, in which the highest bid is expected to be placed for the 3300 MHz band.
It is noteworthy that the last spectrum auction was held in August 2022, in which radio waves for 5G services were sold for the first time. This time the government is auctioning eight spectrum bands for mobile phone services at a value of approximately Rs 96,317 crore. According to PTI language reports, the government has organized this auction on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 so that they can expand telecom services and maintain their continuity.

Reliance Jio has given the highest bid of Rs 3,000 crore in the spectrum auction. Based on this the company can bid for the maximum number of radio waves. According to the Department of Telecommunications, Bharti Airtel has bid Rs 1,050 crore and Vodafone Idea (VIL) has bid Rs 300 crore.
These 8 bands are being auctioned for 5G services.
It is worth understanding that all the spectrum available in 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2500 MHz, 3300 MHz, and 26 GHz bands is part of the 10th auction.

आज मंगलवार को सुबह 10 बजे से लगभग 96,238 करोड़ रुपये के स्पेक्ट्रम की नीलामी शुरू हो रही है। दूरसंचार उद्योग के प्रमुख कंपनियां 5जी सेवाओं के लिए महत्वपूर्ण एयरवेव की प्रतिस्पर्धा कर रही हैं। इस ऑक्शन में आठ बैंड्स शामिल हैं, जिसमें सबसे अधिक बोली अनुमानित रूप से 3300 मेगाहर्ट्ज बैंड के लिए लगाई जाएगी।
यह महत्वपूर्ण बात है कि पिछली स्पेक्ट्रम नीलामी अगस्त 2022 में हुई थी, जिसमें पहली बार 5जी सेवाओं के लिए रेडियो तरंगें बेची गई थीं। इस बार सरकार लगभग 96,317 करोड़ रुपये के मूल्य पर मोबाइल फोन सेवाओं के लिए आठ स्पेक्ट्रम बैंड की नीलामी कर रही है। पीटीआई भाषा के रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, सरकार ने मंगलवार, 25 जून 2024 को इस नीलामी को आयोजित किया है ताकि वे दूरसंचार सेवाओं को विस्तारित करने और उनकी निरंतरता को बनाए रख सके।
स्पेक्ट्रम नीलामी में जियो ने सबसे अधिक बोली दी है।
रिलायंस जियो ने स्पेक्ट्रम नीलामी में सबसे अधिक 3,000 करोड़ रुपये की बोली दी है। इसके आधार पर कंपनी अधिकतम रेडियो तरंगों के लिए बोली लगा सकती है। दूरसंचार विभाग के मुताबिक, भारती एयरटेल ने 1,050 करोड़ रुपये और वोडाफोन आइडिया (वीआईएल) ने 300 करोड़ रुपये की बोली दी है।
