जमुई के नागी अभयारण्य में दो दिवसीय पक्षी महोत्सव 17 फरवरी को आयोजित किया जाएगा और 19 फरवरी को समापन होगा। वन्यजीव आवास और प्रवासी पक्षियों की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए, यह महोत्सव लोगों को पंख वाले पक्षियों की रक्षा करने और जलवायु को समृद्ध करने के लिए जागरूक करने में मदद करेगा। ग्लोबल वार्मिंग और जलवायु में असामान्यता पर्यावरण के लिए तेजी से खतरनाक होती जा रही है।
इस महोत्सव का उद्देश्य पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को संरक्षित करके बिहार में पर्यावरण-पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देना है। यह महोत्सव लोगों में प्रवासी पक्षियों के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करेगा।
एक प्रेस वार्ता में, पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन सचिव, बंदना प्रेयाशी ने संजय गांधी उद्यान में मीडिया को जानकारी दी। इसका उद्घाटन कार रैली में हरी झंडी लहराकर किया जाएगा. लोग पक्षी अभयारण्य देखेंगे और पक्षियों के संरक्षण का महत्व सीखेंगे।
नागी पक्षी अभयारण्य 133 पक्षी प्रजातियों का घर है। 2.1 वर्ग किलोमीटर के क्षेत्र में फैला यह शीतकालीन पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करता है। यहां विभिन्न प्रकार की ड्रैगनफ़्लाइज़, डैम्फ़्लाइज़ और तितलियाँ भी हैं। इस महोत्सव का उद्देश्य पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को संरक्षित करके बिहार में पर्यावरण-पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देना है। इससे पर्यटकों की आवाजाही बढ़ेगी और रोजगार भी पैदा होगा।
पहला पक्षी महोत्सव 16 जनवरी 2021 को नागी में आयोजित किया गया था।

Two Day Birds Festival to be organized on February 17 and 19 in Jamui, Bihar.
A two day Birds Festival at Nagi Sanctuary in Jamui will be organized on February 17 and conclude on February 19. Keeping protection of wildlife habitat and migratory birds in view, the festival will help sensitize the people to protect the winged birds and enrich the climate. Global warming and abnormality in a climate is increasingly alarming to the environment.
The festival aims at promoting eco- tourism in Bihar by preserving the ecosystem.The festival will create awareness among people about migratory birds.
At a Press meet, Bandana Preyashi, the Secretary-Environment, Forest & Climate Change
briefed to the media at Sanjay Gandhi Udyan. It will be inaugurated by waving a green flag at a car rally. People will watch the birds sanctuary and learn the importance of Preserving the birds.
Nagi Bird Sanctuary is home to 133 bird species. Spread over an area of 2.1 square kilometers, it attracts winter sojourners. There are also a variety of dragonflies, damselflies and butterflies. The festival aims at promoting eco- tourism in Bihar by preserving the ecosystem.It will enhance tourist traffic and generate employment as well.
