खरसावां प्रखंड के अंतर्गत ग्राम खिलारी सही स्थित माता दामादिरे पीठ पर वार्षिक जताल पुजा श्रद्धा व उल्लास के साथ संपन्न हुआ खरसावां के प्रसिद्ध शक्तिपीठ का विशेष महत्व है। जताल पुजा की शुरुआत देउरी के द्वारा माता दामादिरे की आराधना के साथ की गई विधि विधान से पूजा अर्चना के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं ने पहली फसल अर्पित किया साथ ही क्षेत्र की सुख शांति व अच्छी फसल के लिए कामना की वही माता के दरबार में मत्था टेक मन्नते की इसके पश्चात माता को प्रसन्न करने के लिए बकरे बलि दी गई। जताल पुजा की यह परंपरा 13 वो सदो से ही रही है, इस पूजा के पश्चात हैं इस वर्ष की धान को फसल से चावल बनाकर खाया जाता है पूजा में मुख्य रूप से भक्तजनों थे सुमंत मोहंती, नीलकंठ मोहंती, दिलीप मोहंती, कालिया मोहंती, गुलु महापात्र संदीप मोहंती राजू मोहती शिवकुमार मोहंती सुमंत मोहंती एवं माता के भारी संख्या में भक्त जनों उपस्थित थे
The annual Jatal puja was completed with reverence and joy at Mata Damadire Peeth located in village Khilari Sahi under Kharsawan block. The famous Shaktipeeth of Kharsawan has special significance. Jantal Puja was started by Deuri with the worship of Mata Damadire as per the rituals. During the puja, the devotees offered the first crop and also prayed for the happiness, peace and good harvest of the area. They bowed their heads in the court of Mata and made vows. After this, goats were sacrificed to please the Mother Goddess. This tradition of Jatal Puja has been there since 13 centuries, after this puja, this year’s paddy is prepared into rice and eaten. The main devotees in the puja were Sumant Mohanty, Neelkanth Mohanty, Dilip Mohanty, Kalia Mohanty, Gulu. Mahapatra Sandeep Mohanty Raju Mohanty, Shivkumar Mohanty, Sumant Mohanty and a large number of devotees of Mata were present.
