भगवान राम के वनवास काल का पहला पड़ाव था छत्तीसगढ़, हरचौका को माना जाता है राम का धाम

सीतामढ़ी के हरचौका में आज भी भगवान राम के रुकने के कई प्रमाण मिलते हैं. राम के वनवासकाल का पहला पड़ाव छत्तीसगढ़ था. यहां कई माह तक भगवान श्री राम, माता सीता और भाई लक्ष्मण के साथ रुके थे.**भरतपुर :* प्रभु श्रीराम ने अपने 14 साल के वनवास के दौरान माता सीता और भाई लक्ष्मण के साथ छत्तीसगढ़ में बिताए थे. ऐसा दावा धर्म के जानकार करते हैं. भगवान राम ने भरतपुर विकासखंड के ग्राम हरचौका मवई नदी के किनारे अपना काफी समय बिताया. बताया जाता है कि चार महीने श्रीराम इस तट पर माता सीता और भाई लक्ष्मण के साथ रुके थे. तब से इस जगह को सीतामढ़ी के नाम से जाना जाता है. मध्य प्रदेश से छत्तीसगढ़ प्रवेश के दौरान यह पहला स्थान है, जहां श्रीराम पहुंचे थे. इसके कई प्रमाण हरचौका में आज भी मौजूद है.*माता सीता के नाम पर सीतामढ़ी पड़ा नाम :* प्रभु श्रीराम 14 साल वनवासी का जीवन जीते रहे. राम जी माता सीता और छोटे भाई लक्ष्मण जी के साथ अयोध्या से पूरे भारतवर्ष में अपने समय को बिताते हुए श्रीलंका पहुंचे थे. इसी बीच छत्तीसगढ़ के भरतपुर नगर पंचायत के ग्राम हरचौका में सीतामढ़ी के पास मवई नदी के तट पर रुके थे. बताया जाता है कि तब से इस स्थान का नाम सीता माता के नाम पर सीतामढ़ी रख दिया गया.हरचौका की गुफा में 17 कमरे हैं मौजूद:एमसीबी जिला मुख्यालय मनेन्द्रगढ़ से लगभग 150 किलोमीटर दूर वनांचल क्षेत्र में मवई नदी किनारे स्थित सीतामढ़ी-हरचौका की इस गुफा में 17 कमरे हैं. इस दिव्य स्थान को माता सीता की रसोई के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. गुफा में 12 शिवलिंग स्थापित हैं. लोगों का मानना है कि गुफा में रहते हुए प्रभु श्री राम शिवलिंग की पूजा किया करते थे. जिस मवई नदी के किनारे यह प्राचीन मंदिर है, उस का एक तट मध्यप्रदेश की सीमा में पड़ता है. जबकि दूसरा तट छत्तीसगढ़ में पड़ता है.भगवान राम के वनवास का पहला पड़ाव:मान्यता है कि श्री राम अपने वनवास काल में छत्तीसगढ़ में माता सीता और भाई लक्ष्मण के साथ प्रवेश किये थे.

छत्तीसगढ़ में यह श्री राम के वनवास का पहला पड़ाव माना जाता है. इसी मवई नदी के किनारे हरचौका में उनका ठहराव हुआ था. वहीं, लोगों का यह भी मानना है कि भगवान श्रीराम के आगमन से पहले यहां विश्वकर्मा भगवान आए थे. विश्वकर्मा भगवान के द्वारा ही भगवान श्रीराम के रुकने के लिए गुफा का निर्माण किया गया था. यह भी कहा जाता है कि सभी देवी-देवता प्रभु श्री राम की किसी न किसी रूप में मदद कर रहे थे. क्योंकि श्री राम भगवान विष्णु के अवतार माने जाते हैं.माता सीता बनाती थी खाना: यहां माता सीता की रसोई है. यहां सीता माता खाना बनाती थी. इस जगह पर माता सीता के साथ इनके 7 बहनों की प्रतिमा स्थापित है.
