विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने भारत के आगामी पांच वर्षों के लिए चीन और पाकिस्तान के साथ कैसे निपटने की योजना को सार्थक बनाने का मार्गदर्शन दिया है।

मोदी सरकार एक बार फिर केंद्र में स्थापित हो चुकी है, और विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने अपने पदभार को संभालते हुए आगामी पांच साल के लिए रणनीति का मार्गदर्शन किया है।

नरेंद्र मोदी की अगुआई वाली तीसरी सरकार में अधिकांश प्रमुख कैबिनेट मंत्रियों ने पिछली बीजेपी सरकार में उनके पास रहे विभागों को बरकरार रखा है. इसमें एक प्रमुख विदेश मंत्रालय की जिम्मेदारी फिर एक बार एस जयशंकर को दी गई है जिन्होंने मंगलवार को कार्यभार संभाल लिया है. विदेश मंत्रालय का कार्यभारत संभालने के बाद उन्होंने कहा कि पाकिस्तान और चीन के साथ हमारे अलग-अलग संबंध हैं. दोनों देशों के साथ समस्याएं भी अलग-अलग हैं.

अगले 5 वर्षों के लिए पाकिस्तान और चीन के साथ भारत के संबंधों पर विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर ने प्रतिक्रिया दी. उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी देश में और खासकर लोकतंत्र में, किसी सरकार का लगातार तीन बार चुना जाना बहुत बड़ी बात होती है. दुनिया को यह समझ आ चुका है कि आज भारत में राजनीतिक स्थिरता है. उन्होंने आगे कहा कि जहां तक ​​पाकिस्तान और चीन का सवाल है, उन देशों के साथ संबंध अलग हैं और वहां की समस्याएं भी अलग हैं. चीन के संबंध में हमारा ध्यान सीमा मुद्दों का समाधान खोजने पर आगे रहेगा जबकि पाकिस्तान के साथ हम वर्षों पुराने सीमा पार आतंकवाद के मुद्दे का समाधान निकालने का प्रयास करेंगे.

अगले 5 सालों में भारत की UNSC सीट पर विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर ने कहा कि इसके अलग-अलग पहलू हैं और मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि पीएम मोदी के नेतृत्व में मोदी 3.0 की विदेश नीति बहुत सफल साबित होने जा रही है. भारत का प्रभाव लगातार बढ़ रहा है. दूसरे देशों की सोच में बदलाव आया है. उन्हें लगता है कि भारत वास्तव में उनका मित्र है, उन्होंने देखा है कि संकट के समय यदि कोई एक देश ग्लोबल साउथ के साथ खड़ा है तो वो भारत है. दुनिया ने देखा है कि जब हमने G20 की अध्यक्षता के दौरान अफ्रीकी संघ की सदस्यता को आगे बढ़ाया तो दुनिया ने हम पर भरोसा किया. अब हमारी जिम्मेदारियां भी बढ़ रही हैं.
