शॉट सर्किट से हाइवा में लगी आग
चांडिल: चौका थाना क्षेत्र के मुखिया होटल स्थित एक गैरेज के सामने खड़ी एक हाइवा में रविवार की सुबह करीब साढ़े सात बजे अचानक आग लग गई. देखते ही देखते हाइवा के टायर जलने लगे और अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया. कुछ ही देर पहले हाइवा खड़ी कर उसका चालक नहाने के लिए गया ही था कि हाइवा में आग लग गई. आसपास के लोगों ने हाइवा को जलते देख कर चौका थाना की पुलिस के अलावा बिजली विभाग और उसके मालिक को घटना की सूचना दी. सूचना मिलते ही चौका थाना की पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और अग्निशमन विभाग को इसकी सूचना दी. शॉट सर्किट से हाइवा में आग लगने से एक होने वाली एक बड़ी घटना टल गई. हाइवा का डाला उठाने के दौरान अगर बिजली की तार से डाला सट जाता तो वाहन पर सवार चालक व खलासी को नुकसान हो सकता था. हालांकि इस घटना में हाइवा को नुकसान होने के अलावा कोई हताहत नहीं हुआ है.

बताया गया कि बिजली की तार से सटने के कारण हाइवा में आग लग गई थी. हाइवा का चालक वाहन खड़ी करने के बाद उसका डाला उठाकर नहाने चला गया था. इसी क्रम में हवा के झोंके से निकट से गुजरी बिजली का तार हाइवा के डाला से सट गया. बिजली तार से सटने के कारण हाइवा में आग लग गई. बिजली कटने के बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने सामने से बहने वाले जुड़िया से बाल्टी में पानी लाकर आग को बुझाया और हाइवा को पूरी तरह से जलने से बचाया. इसके बाद दमकल वाहन मौके पर पहुंची. दमकल वाहन ने भी पानी की बौछार कर पूरी तरह से आग पर काबू पाया. संयोग रहा कि सुबह के वक्त गैरेज में दूसरा कोई वाहन नहीं लगी थी. अन्य दिन उक्त गैरेज में वाहनों की भीड़ रहती है. अन्य वाहन रहने पर उसे भी नुकसान हो सकता था. ईद का त्योहार होने के कारण सभी गैरेज मिस्त्री घर गए हैं.
