Vat Savitri Vrat 2024: का त्योहार ज्येष्ठ माह के कृष्ण पक्ष अमावस्या को यह व्रत मनाया जाता है. यह व्रत अत्यंत ही महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है. इस दिन सत्यवान सावित्री तथा यमराज की पूजा की जाती है. व्रती को इस दिन फल खा सकती है. व्रत रखने वाली महिलाएं का सुहाग अचला होता है. सावित्री ने इसी व्रत के प्रभाव से अपने मृतक पति सत्यवान को धर्मराज से भी जीत लिया था. इस व्रत को करने से महिलाओ को अखंड सौभाग्य प्राप्त होती है साथ ही विवाहित जीवन खुशहाल होता है.

वट वृक्ष अपनी विशालता के लिए भी प्रसिद्ध है.पीपल की तरह वट या बरगद के पेड़ का भी विशेष महत्व है पाराशर मुनि के अनुसार- ‘वट मुले टोपवासा’ ऐसा कहा गया है. पुराणों में यह स्पष्ट किया गया है कि वट में ब्रह्मा, विष्णु व महेश तीनों का वास है.इसके नीचे बैठकर पूजन, व्रत कथा आदि सुनने से मनोकामना पूरी होती है.

सूर्योदय के पहले उठकर स्नान कर ले ,स्वस्छ वस्त्र धारण करे बरगद के पेड़ के निचे सावित्री तथा सत्यवान का प्रतिमा स्थापित करे, पेड़ को जल दूध घी शहद तथा फुल से पूजन करे साथ वट वृक्ष में धागा 108 बार लपेटते हुए परिक्रमा कर,घी का दीपक जलाए पुरे दिन निर्जला व्रत रखे सूर्यास्त के बाद भोजन करे .
