पत्नी के सामने डूबता चला गया, फिर 27 घंटे बाद निकाला गया लाश।*
लातेहार: लातेहार में बीते कल तालाब में डूबे शख्स धर्मनाथ सिंह की डेड बॉडी आज 27 घंटे बाद निकाल ली गई। लबालब पानी से भरे तालाब से पहले पानी को कम किया गया। इसके लिये 2 JCB की मदद ली गई। तालाब के मेड़ को खुदवाया गया। पानी निकलने का रास्ता बनाया गया। जब तालाब में पानी कम हुआ तब स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से धर्मनाथ सिंह की लाश बाहर निकाली जा सकी। इसमें करीब 3 घंटे का समय लगा।
यह हादसा लातेहार के सदर थाना क्षेत्र के उदयपुरा गांव में हुआ। मृतक की पत्नी उर्मिला देवी ने बताया कि सोमवार को दिन के ढाई बजे वे तालाब नहाने के इरादे से गये थे, तभी वह डूब गये। पति को डूबता देख वह भी तालाब में छलांग मार दी, पर उन्हें बचा नहीं सकी। उसके शोर मचाने पर वहां जुटे लोगों ने भी उन्हें बाहर निकालने का बहुत प्रयास किया, पर कामयाब न हो सके। मृतक के दो बेटा व दो बेटी है। जिसमें एक बेटा व एक बेटी की शादी हो चुकी है। घटना के बाद से घर के लोगों की हालत खराब है।

Urmila Devi, wife of the deceased, said that on Monday he had gone to the pond at 2:30 in the afternoon with the intention of taking a bath, when he drowned. Seeing her husband drowning, she also jumped into the pond, but could not save him. When he raised an alarm, the people gathered there also tried hard to get him out, but could not succeed. The deceased has two sons and two daughters. In which one son and one daughter are married. The condition of the people of the house is bad after the incident.
