झारखंड से शैलेंद्र जायसवाल और रितेश कश्यप को मिला राष्ट्रीय गौरव सम्मान
भुवनेश्वर:”देश की आजादी से लेकर जेपी आंदोलन तक में स्वतंत्र मीडिया की भूमिका अहम रही है.मीडिया ने समानता,समाजवाद और आर्थिक उत्थान के विचारों को जन जन तक पहुंचाया है.मीडिया ने भारतीयों को स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में शामिल होने और अंग्रेजों को भारत छोड़ने पर मजबूर कर दिया.1975 में जेपी आंदोलन के समय मीडिया ने पुनः अपने महत्व को साबित कर दिखाया.
उक्त बातें राष्ट्रीय प्रेस दिवस के अवसर पर उड़ीसा के राज्यपाल रघुबर दास ने बतौर मुख्य अतिथि कहीं.मौका था राष्ट्रीय प्रेस दिवस पर भुवनेश्वर में नैशनल जर्नलिस्ट वैलफेयर बोर्ड के बैनर तले सेमिनार में देश के विभिन्न राज्यों से आए पत्रकारों के सम्मान समारोह का जहां राज्यपाल ने मीडिया की भूमिका की भूरी-भूरी प्रशंसा की.राज्यपाल ने कहा कि जनकल्याण की भावना से ही सच्चा पत्रकार और सच्चा लोकसेवक बनता है.उन्होने इसका उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि मीडिया की सीढ़ी से राजनीति में आए प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेई और लालकृष्ण आडवाणी इसका उदाहरण हैं.
छोटे और मझोले मीडिया हाउस की प्रशंसा करते हुए श्री दास ने कहा कि देश के बड़े बड़े घोटालों को छोटे पत्र-पत्रिकाओं ने उजागर करने का काम किया जिसका उदाहरण है चारा घोटाला.

मौके पर बतौर सम्मानित अतिथि उपस्थित उड़ीसा के कृषि मंत्री राजा संवाई ने मीडिया की भूमिका के प्रभाव पर विचार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि देश के बड़े बड़े घोटालों और आंदोलन को धार देने में पत्रकारों ने बड़ी कुर्बानी तक दी है.उन्होने हाल के दिनों में मीडिया कवरेज के दौरान विदेशी मीडिया को निशाना बनाए जाने पर हमास और इस्राइल के युद्ध का उदाहरण दिया.अपने संबोधन में मंत्री ने वर्तमान परिस्थितियों में गोदी मीडिया की भूमिका पर सवाल खड़े किए.
*पत्रकारों की सुरक्षा और संवर्धन पर सोचे सरकार-प्रीतम भाटिया*
AISMJWA के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव प्रीतम भाटिया ने कार्यक्रम में बतौर वक्ता अपने विचार रखते हुए कहा कि देश और राज्यों की सरकारों को पत्रकारों की सुरक्षा और संवर्धन पर काम करने की जरूरत है.श्री भाटिया ने कहा कि देश में रेल यात्रा और हाईवे में टोल पर छूट तो समाप्त कर दिया लेकिन इस देश की युनियन और मीडिया हाउस चुप रहे.वे बोले पत्रकारों को बीमा,पेंशन,आवास जैसी मूलभूत सुविधाएं मिलनी चाहिए.
उन्होने प्रेस दिवस पर झारखंड के दो पत्रकार शैलेंद्र जायसवाल बंटी और रितेश कश्यप को राष्ट्रीय गौरव सम्मान मिलना पर शुभकामनाएं दी.मौके पर बंगाल से पत्रकार बिष्णु अग्रवाल,बैंगलोर से पत्रकार रंजन आचार्य को राष्ट्रीय गौरव सम्मान जबकि उड़ीसा से निरंजन रत्न सांवादिक रत्न सम्मान सहित अन्य पत्रकार साथियों को सम्मानित किया गया.NJWB द्वारा उड़ीसा के 40 वयोवृद्ध पत्रकार साथियों को पेंशन प्रदान किया गया.
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत राष्ट्रगान, राज्यगान और भगवान जगन्नाथ के दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर की गई.कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में पीआईबी,ऑल इंडिया रेडियो,दूरदर्शन और सीबीसी ने भी सहभागिता दी.NJWB के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष प्रदोष पटनायक, महासचिव सनत मिश्रा,उपाध्यक्ष प्रद्युम्न मोहंती,संतोष पाण्डेय,भागवत त्रिपाठी,पार्थ सारथी जेना,सनातन दलबेहरा ने भी कार्यक्रम के दौरान अपने विचार रखे.

AISMJWA National General Secretary Pritam Bhatia, while presenting his views as a speaker in the program, said that the governments of the country and states need to work on the safety and promotion of journalists. Mr. Bhatia said that there should be exemption on toll on rail travel and highways in the country. So it was abolished but the unions and media houses of this country remained silent. He said that journalists should get basic facilities like insurance, pension, housing.
On the Press Day, he congratulated two journalists from Jharkhand, Shailendra Jaiswal, Bunty and Ritesh Kashyap, on receiving the National Pride Award. On the occasion, journalist Bishnu Aggarwal from Bengal, journalist Ranjan Acharya from Bangalore received the National Pride Award, while Niranjan Ratna from Orissa received the Samvadik Ratna Award and others. Journalist colleagues were honoured. NJWB provided pension to 40 senior journalist colleagues of Orissa.
The program started with the national anthem, state anthem and lighting of the lamp of Lord Jagannath. PIB, All India Radio, Doordarshan and CBC also participated in making the program successful. NJWB National President Pradosh Patnaik, General Secretary Sanat Mishra, Vice President Pradyumna Mohanty, Santosh Pandey, Bhagwat Tripathi, Partha Sarathi Jena, Sanatan Dalbehara also expressed their views during the program.
