पश्चिमी सिंहभूम जिला अंतर्गत लोहरदा पंचायत के मौजा बैंका सामुदायिक भवन में संचालित एक्सपायर संस्था के द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस मनाया गया जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में प्रखंण्ड प्रमुख श्री सिद्धार्थ होनहागा उपस्थित थे
उन्होंने शिक्षा पर जोर देते हुए कहा “लड़कियों के अधिकारों में निवेश: हमारा नेतृत्व, हमारा कल्याण. यह विषय लड़कियों में निवेश करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर देता है, यह पहचानते हुए कि उनका नेतृत्व और कल्याण एक निष्पक्ष और अधिक समान भविष्य के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं.
क्योंकि आप एक लड़की हो’ क्या सिर्फ इसलिए जीते रहेंगे…. नहीं, अब और नहीं, अब आप अबला नारी नहीं रही, आप लक्ष्मी बाई , दुर्गा की अवतार हो याद रखिए अब चुप बैठकर आप जुल्म सहने वाली कमजोर बच्ची नहीं रहीं. आप, उन लोगों को, जो हाथ का खिलौना समझते हैं, आप कमजोर समझते हैं, उन्हें चेताते रहे सचेत करे अपनी हरकतों से बाज आ जाओ और हमसे दूर रहो, क्योंकि, क्योंकि ‘आप एक लड़की हो’.देश,दुनिया हमारे और सभ्य समाज हमारे साथ है, चंद गुंडों का जोर-ओ-जुल्म अब नहीं चलने वाला. सुनो जुल्म करने वालो, अब तुम्हारे दिन लद गए, हवा हुए तुम्हारे दिन, ‘अब हमारा समय है, आप का अधिकार ही आप भविष्य’है. बता दें आवाज को बुलंद की जरूरत है आवाज को सशक्त करने और उन्हें आगे बढ़ाने के लिए हर साल आज के दिन यानि 11 अक्टूबर को ‘अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस’ मनाया जाता है. यह दिन इसलिए मनाया जाता है ताकि लोगों में लैंगिक असमानता के प्रति जागरूकता पैदा की जा सके. इस दिन संयुक्त राष्ट्र और दूसरे अन्यान्य संगठन मिलकर बाल विवाह, महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा, शिक्षा तक उनक लड़कियों के साथ अन्याय या भेदभाव किया जाता है. इन अन्याय में बाकी चीजें तो शामिल हैं ही, दुनिया के अनेक देशों में उच्च वेतन वाली नौकरियों में किया जाने वाला भेदभाव भी शामिल है. बालिका दिवस इन मुद्दों को हाई लाइट भर नहीं करता बल्कि इस भेदभाव और अन्याय को कैसे समाप्त किया जाए इस पर भी कोशिशें की जाती हैं, आप बेशक अपने आपको साबित करे लेकिन अभी भी बहुत सी लड़कियां अपने आपको उतना मजबूत नहीं पाती हैं जितनी वो हैं, उन्हें अपनी अंदर शक्ति को जानना, पहचानना और समझना होगा, साथ ही इस बेदर्द जमाने को उसकी हैसियत दिखाना होगा. इस मौके पर जिला परिषद श्रीमती जमुना तियू लोहरदा पंचायत की मुखिया मेंजारी सामाड, दोपाई मुखिया धर्मेंद्र बोदरा बोदरा समाजसेवी सह अभिव्यक्त नारायण कांडेयाग, प्रमुख प्रतिनिधि अमित होनहागा, महिला समूह, वार्ड पार्षद एवं एस्पायर संस्था के शिक्षकगण एवं ग्रामीण उपस्थित थे।
