झारखंड के गिरिडीह जिले का जो इलाका कभी लाल आतंक का गढ़ हुआ करता था, वहां आज बंपर वोटिंग हो रही है. सुरक्षा के चाक-चौबंद इंतजाम किए गए हैं.

झारखंड में जहां कभी नक्सलियों का लाल आतंक हुआ करता था, आज यानी सोमवार (20 मई) को बंपर वोटिंग हुई. लाल आतंक के गढ़ में लोग जमकर मतदान कर रहे हैं. हम बात कर रहे हैं कोडरमा लोकसभा सीट के तहत आने वाले गिरिडीह जिले की.

झारखंड के गिरिडीह जिले में नक्सलियों की बोलती थी तूती

कोडरमा लोकसभा का बड़ा इलाका गिरिडीह जिले में पड़ता है. गिरिडीह जिले में कई इलाके हैं, जहां कभी नक्सलियों की तूती बोलती थी. नक्सलियों के चुनाव बहिष्कार के ऐलान के बाद लोग मतदान करने की हिम्मत नहीं कर पाते थे. नक्सलियों के द्वारा जगह-जगह हिंसक घटनाओं को अंजाम दिया जाता था. उन्हीं इलाकों में लोकसभा चुनाव के पांचवें और झारखंड में दूसरे चरण की वोटिंग के दौरान मतदाताओं में अलग तरह का उत्साह था.

अब माहौल बदला है. नक्सलियों के गढ़ में भी जबर्दस्त वोटिंग हो रही है. नक्सल प्रभावित भेलवाघाटी, चिरुडीह, रमणीटांड, गुनियाथर, गलफूलिया, चौकी, हथगढ़, तेतरिया, नारोटांड, लोकायनयनपुर, थानसिंहडीह, तिसरो, बलथरवा, पसनोर, राजोखार, डूमरझारा नीमडीह, चरकी, जमडार, कारिपहरी, हरलाघाटी तराई वाले इलाके में भी जमकर पोलिंग हो रही है. इन गांव में सुबह से ही मतदाता अपने घरों से निकलकर बूथ पर पहुंच गए थे.

सुरक्षा को लेकर पुलिस-प्रशासन अलर्ट, चप्पे-चप्पे पर जवान तैनात

कोडरमा लोकसभा के सभी इलाकों में शांतिपूर्ण मतदान संपन्न हों, इसके लिए जिला पुलिस व केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस फोर्स (सीआरपीएफ) के अधिकारी और जवान सुबह से ही तैनात थे. सुरक्षा बल के जवान हर अतिसंवेदनशील बूथ का जायजा ले रहे थे. एसपी दीपक कुमार शर्मा खुद पूरी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का जायजा लेते रहे.
