पूर्वी सिंहभूम जिले के सभी प्रखंडो के जल सहियाएं पिछले 50 महीने से मानदेय नहीं मिलने से बेहाल हैं. कई बार विभागीय स्तर पर जानकारी देने के बाद भी इन्हें मानदेय एवं प्रोत्साहन राशि का भुगतान नहीं किया गया है जिससे परेशान होकर आज पूर्वी सिंहभूम जिले के सभी प्रखंडों की जलसहियाओं ने जिला मुख्यालय पर धरना- प्रदर्शन करते हुए उपायुक्त के नाम 16 सूत्री मांग पत्र सौंपा. ज्ञात हो कि पूर्वी सिंहभूम जिले में करीब 23 सौ जल सहियाएं हैं. जिन्हें पिछले 50 महीने से मानदेय एवं प्रोत्साहन राशि का भुगतान नहीं किया गया है. झारखंड राज्य जल सहिया संघ पूर्वी सिंहभूम की जिला अध्यक्ष नीतू सिंह ने बताया कि हर स्तर पर फरियाद लगाने के बाद भी अब तक उन्हें समाधान नहीं मिला है. उपायुक्त के यहां से भी यदि उन्हें इंसाफ नहीं मिलता है, तो मुख्य मुख्यमंत्री और राज्यपाल से फरियाद लगाई जाएगी. उन्होंने बताया कि सभी संबंधित विभागों तक फरियाद लगाई गई है, बावजूद इसके हमारी मांगों को नहीं मानी जा रही है, जबकि हम सरकार के सभी दिशा- निर्देशों का पालन कर लोगों को अपनी सेवा दे रहे हैं.

District President of Jharkhand State Jal Sahiya Sangh East Singhbhum, Neetu Singh said that even after complaining at every level, they have not got a solution till now. If they do not get justice even from the Deputy Commissioner’s place, then a complaint will be made to the Chief Minister and the Governor. He told that a complaint has been made to all the concerned departments, yet our demands are not being accepted, while we are giving our services to the people by following all the guidelines of the government.
