कुचाई में राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस का बीडीओ व चिकित्सा प्रभारी ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया उद्घाटन
खरसावां कुचाई प्रखंड के कस्तूरबा गांधी आवासीय विद्यालय में राष्ट्रीय कृमि मुक्ति दिवस का विधिवत उद्घाटन प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी सुजाता कुजूर एवं प्रखंड चिकित्सा प्रभारी डॉ सुजीत मुर्मू ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया खासकर 1 से 19 वर्ष तक की आयु के बच्चों के लिए जो सबसे कमजोर हैं। वैसे बच्चों को दवा भी वितरण किया। मौके पर बीडीओ श्रीमती कुजूर ने कहा कि आंतों के कीड़े के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना और बच्चों में मृदा संचारित क्रीमी का पूर्ण उन्मूलन प्राप्त करना स्वास्थ्य विभाग का मुख्य उद्देश्य है। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चों के बाहर खेलते समय मिट्टी के संपर्क में आने से किडनी के संक्रमण को रोकना असंभव है कृमि संक्रमण बच्चों के जीवन की गुणवत्ता को कम कर सकता है उनके शारीरिक विकास और मानसिक विकास को अवरुद्ध कर सकता है। इससे बचने के लिए दवाई अति आवश्यक है। वहीं प्रभारी डॉ मुर्मू ने कहा कि कुचाई प्रखंड क्षेत्र में 31335 बच्चों को दवा खिलाने का निर्धारित लक्ष्य है। प्रखंड के सभी स्कूल आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र में जानकारी के साथ दवा उपलब्ध करा दिया गया है। ताकि समय पर बच्चों को इसकी खोराक मिल सके।

Worm infection can reduce the quality of life of children and block their physical growth and mental development. To avoid this, medicine is very important. On the other hand, in-charge Dr. Murmu said that there is a fixed target of feeding medicines to 31335 children in Kuchai block area. Medicines along with information have been made available in all schools and anganwadi centers of the block. So that children can get their food on time.
