10 जून को होने वाली अगली सुनवाई में हेमंत सोरेन की जमानत याचिका पर जांच होगी, हाईकोर्ट ने इस बारे में ईडी को निर्देश दिया है।
हेमंत सोरेन ने अपनी जामनत के लिए झारखंड हाईकोर्ट में याचिका दायर की है. जिस पर आज यानी कि 28 मई को सुनवाई होनी है. उन्होंने दायर याचिका में ईडी के आरोपों को गलत बताया है.
रांची: बड़गाई अंचल की 8.86 एकड़ जमीन से जुड़े मनी लॉउंड्रिंग मामले में आरोपी हेमंत सोरेन की जमानत याचिका पर झारखंड हाइकोर्ट में मंगलवार को सुनवाई हुई. ये सुनवाई न्यायमूर्ति रंगन मुखोपाध्याय की अदालत में हुई. मामले की सुनवाई करते हुए अदालत ने ईडी के अधिवक्ता को 10 जून से पूर्व शपथ पत्र दायर करने को कहा. अब इस मामले की अगली सुनवाई 10 जून को होगी. गौरतलब है कि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने कोर्ट सोमवार को जामनत याचिका दायर कर ईडी के आरोपों को खारिज किया था.
ईडी के आरोपों को बताया गलत
प्रार्थी हेमंत सोरेन ने अपनी याचिका में कहा है कि प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (इडी) द्वारा उनके खिलाफ जमीन कब्जे का जो आरोप लगाया गया है, वह पूरी तरह से झूठ पर आधारित है. बेबुनियाद है. बड़गाई की 8.86 एकड़ जमीन भुईंहरी प्रकृति की जमीन है. उक्त जमीन को ट्रांसफर नहीं किया जा सकता है. जमीन का मालिकाना अधिकार भी उनके पास नहीं है और न ही जमीन के किसी दस्तावेज में उनका नाम है. इसके बावजूद इडी उक्त जमीन पर उनके द्वारा कब्जे का आरोप लगाया गया है.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट भी पहुंचे थे हेमंत सोरेन
बता दें कि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन अपनी जमानत के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट में भी पहुंचे थे. सुनवाई के दौरान जब अदालत को पता चला कि सीनियर एडवोकेट कपिल सिब्बल ने केस से जुड़े तथ्य छुपाए हैं. इसके बाद जज ने इस पर अपनी नाराजगी व्यक्त की. इस पर कपिल सिब्बल ने अपनी गलती स्वीकार करते हुए याचिका वापस लेने की अनुमति देने का आग्रह किया. कोर्ट ने उन्हें याचिका वापस लेने की अनुमति दे दी.
31 जनवरी 2024 को ईडी ने हेमंत सोरेन को किया था गिरफ्तार
गौरतलब है कि हेमंत सोरेन को ईडी ने 31 जनवरी 2024 की राच लंबी पूछताछ के बाद गिरफ्तार कर लिया था. हालांकि पूर्व सीएम लगातार अपनी गिरफ्तारी को गलत बता ईडी के आरोपों को खारिज कर रहे हैं. शराब घोटाला मामले में जेल में बंद अरविंद केजरीवाल को चुनाव प्रचार के लिए अंतरिम जामनत मिली थी. तो हेमंत सोरेन ने भी इसी को आधार बनाते हुए जमानत की मांग की लेकिन उन्हें राहत नहीं मिली.

Ranchi: The bail plea of Hemant Soren, accused in the money laundering case related to 8.86 acres of land in Badgai area, was heard in the Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday. This hearing took place in the court of Justice Rangan Mukhopadhyay. While hearing the case, the court asked the ED advocate to file the affidavit before June 10. Now the next hearing of this case will be on June 10. It is noteworthy that former Chief Minister Hemant Soren had filed a bail petition in the court on Monday and rejected the ED’s allegations.
Said ED’s allegations wrong
Applicant Hemant Soren has said in his petition that the allegation of land grabbing made against him by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is completely based on lies. It is baseless. 8.86 acres of land of Badgai is land of green nature. The said land cannot be transferred. He neither has ownership rights over the land nor is his name mentioned in any of the land documents. Despite this, the ED has alleged that they are in possession of the said land.
Hemant Soren had also reached the Supreme Court
Let us tell you that former Chief Minister Hemant Soren had also reached the Supreme Court for his bail. During the hearing, the court came to know that senior advocate Kapil Sibal had hidden the facts related to the case. After this the judge expressed his displeasure on this. On this, Kapil Sibal accepted his mistake and requested for permission to withdraw the petition. The court allowed him to withdraw the petition.
ED arrested Hemant Soren on 31 January 2024
It is noteworthy that Hemant Soren was arrested by ED after a long interrogation on January 31, 2024. However, the former CM is continuously rejecting the ED’s allegations calling his arrest wrong. Arvind Kejriwal, who was jailed in the liquor scam case, was granted interim bail for election campaign. So Hemant Soren also sought bail on this basis but he did not get relief.
