एलिमिनेटर मैच में मुंबई इंडियंस की एकतरफा जीत, लखनऊ सुपर जायंट्स IPL से बाहर

रोहित शर्मा की कप्तानी वाली टीम मुंबई इंडियंस ने आईपीएल-2023 के एलिमिनेटर मैच में लखनऊ सुपरजायंट्स को 81 रनों के बड़े अंतर से हरा दिया. इस जीत के साथ मुंबई ने क्वालिफायर-2 में जगह बनाई जहां उसका सामना गत चैंपियन गुजरात टाइटंस से होगा. लखनऊ का सफर बुधवार को चेपॉक स्टेडियम में मिली इस हार के साथ समाप्त हो गया.

चेपॉक स्टेडियम में खेले गए इस एलिमिनेटर मैच में मुंबई इंडियंस ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 8 विकेट पर 182 रन बनाए. लखनऊ टीम 183 रनों के लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए 16.3 ओवर में 101 रन बनाकर ऑलआउट हो गई. मुंबई के लिए जीत में बड़ा योगदान आकाश मधवाल ने दिया. उन्होंने 3.3 ओवर में महज 5 रन देकर 5 विकेट लिए. उनके अलावा क्रिस जॉर्डन और पीयूष चावला को 1-1 विकेट मिला. मार्कस स्टॉयनिस (40), दीपक हुड्डा (15) और कृश्णप्पा गौतम (2) रन आउट हुए.

Chasing the target of 183 runs, the Lucknow team got all out after scoring 101 runs in 16.3 overs. Akash Madhwal made a big contribution to the victory for Mumbai. He took 5 wickets for just 5 runs in 3.3 overs. Apart from them, Chris Jordan and Piyush Chawla got 1-1 wickets. Marcus Stoinis (40), Deepak Hooda (15) and Krishnappa Gautam (2) were run out.
