*RBI ने यूपीआई पेमेंट को लेकर सुनाया ये बड़ा फैसला*
नई दिल्ली। बड़ी खबर आई है, भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने लोगों को बड़ी राहत दी है। शुक्रवार को अस्पतालों में इलाज और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में दाखिले के लिए यूपीआई (यूनिफाइड पेमेंट इंटरफेस) के जरिये भुगतान की सीमा एक बार में एक लाख रुपये से बढ़ाकर पांच लाख रुपये कर दी है। इस पहल का मकसद चिकित्सा और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भुगतान को लेकर यूपीआई का इस्तेमाल बढ़ाना है।
आरबीआई के गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने द्विमासिक मौद्रिक नीति समीक्षा पेश करते हुए शुक्रवार को कहा, ‘‘ अस्पतालों और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के लिए यूपीआई के जरिये भुगतान की सीमा को मौजूदा के एक लाख रुपये से बढ़ाकर पांच लाख रुपये करने का निर्णय किया गया है।”
केंद्रीय बैंक के अनुसार, इस बारे में जल्दी ही अलग से निर्देश जारी किया जाएगा। बता दें कि, कुछ श्रेणियों को छोड़कर यूपीआई के जरिये भुगतान की सीमा एक लाख रुपये निर्धारित है। जिन श्रेणियों को पहले से छूट है, उसमें पूंजी बाजार (संपत्ति प्रबंधन कंपनी, ब्रोकिंग, म्यूचुअल फंड आदि), क्रेडिट कार्ड भुगतान, कर्ज वापसी, ईएमआई, बीमा आदि शामिल हैं।

On Friday, the government raised the limit for payment through UPI (Unified Payment Interface) for treatment in hospitals and admission to educational institutions from Rs 1 lakh at a time to Rs 5 lakh. The initiative aims to increase the use of UPI for payments in the medical and education sectors.
RBI Governor Shaktikant Das on Friday said, “Hospitals And for educational institutions, the limit of payment through UPI has been increased from the existing Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.”
According to the central bank, a separate directive will be issued soon. The limit for payments through UPI is Rs 1 lakh except for certain categories. Categories that are already exempt include capital markets (asset management companies, broking, mutual funds, etc.), credit card payments, loan repayments, EMIs, insurance, and so on.
