गिरीडीह। झारखण्ड के गिरिडीह जिले के गांडेय में बेटियों ने समाज में मिसाल कायम की है।समाज की बेड़ियों को तोड़कर नजीर पेश की है। गांडेय की चार बेटियों ने माँ की अर्थी को कंधा दिए जाने और अंतिम संस्कार करने की घटना इलाके में चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है। चारों तरफ अर्थी को कंधा देने वाली बेटियों की प्रशंसा हो रही है।बताया जाता है कि सम्पति विवाद में गोतिया ने जब शव को कंधा देने से मना कर दिया तब बेटियों ने यह कदम उठाया।गौरतलब है कि गांडेय प्रखंड के गजकुंडा पंचायत अंतर्गत सरौन गांव में सांझो देवी की मौत हृदय गति रुकने के कारण हो गई थी।मौत के बाद स्थानीय ग्रामीण समेत उनके सगे संबंधी और बेटियां अंतिम दर्शन को पहुंची थीं।माँ के अंतिम संस्कार के पूर्व ही गोतिया के साथ जमीन को लेकर विवाद हो गया था।विवाद बढ़ने पर गोतिया ने सांझो देवी का अंतिम संस्कार करने से इंकार कर दिया।पिता की मौत भी पहले ही हो चुकी थी। गोतिया के इंकार करने के बाद चारों बेटियों ने मिलकर माँ की अर्थी को कंधा दिया।शमशान घाट में अंतिम संस्कार किया। माँ की अर्थी को कंधा देने और शव का अंतिम संस्कार करने की चर्चा पूरे इलाके में हो रही है।
24 घंटे तक पड़ा रहा शव तब जाकर बेटियों ने दिया कंधा
गौरतलब है कि पिता दुखन पंडित के तीन भाई थे।माँ की मृत्यु की सूचना पर उनकी चारों बेटियां गौरी देवी, सुगवा देवी, बूंदा देवी और देवकी देवी अपने अपने ससुराल से मायके माँ के अंतिम दर्शन के लिए आई थी। बड़े चाचा एवं मंझले चाचा से उनके बीच ज़मीन विवाद चल रहा था।ज़मीन विवाद के कारण चाचों ने अर्थी उठाने से मना कर दिया।इस कारण लगभग 24 घंटे तक शव घर पर ही पड़ा रहा।जिसके बाद बेटियों ने मिलकर अर्थी को कंधा दिया और शमसान घाट पहुंचाया। मुखाग्नि देने के दौरान भी गोतिया लोगों ने विवाद कर दिया। हालांकि चचेरे भाई ने मुखाग्नि दी। इस दौरान मृतिका की चारो बेटियां माँ की शव का अंतिम संस्कार तक वहां उपस्थित रहीं।

Significantly, father Dukhan Pandit had three brothers. On the information of the death of the mother, his four daughters Gauri Devi, Sugva Devi, Bunda Devi and Devki Devi came from their in-laws’ house for the last darshan of their mother. There was a land dispute between the elder uncle and the middle uncle. Due to the land dispute, the uncles refused to lift the bier. Due to this the dead body remained at home for about 24 hours. After which the daughters together shouldered the bier and Sent to the cremation ground. Gotia people had a dispute even while lighting the fire. Although the cousin lit the fire. During this, the four daughters of the deceased were present there till the last rites of the dead body of the mother.
