उरांव समुदाय का महान पर्व करमा जागरण के साथ प्रारम्भ हो गई l

चाईबासा के सातों अखाड़ा सहित आसपास के गावों में नया खान किया गया l समुदाय के सभी लोग अपने -अपने घरों में नये अन्न को अपने पूर्वजों व अपने इष्ट देवता धर्मेश को चढ़ावा कर पूजा अर्चना किया गया l उसके पश्चात प्रसाद के रूप में नये अन्न का ग्रहण किया गया l आज दिनांक – 25.09.2023 को करमा त्योहार धूम-धाम एवं हर्षोल्लास तथा पुरी श्रद्धा के साथ मनाया जाएगा l सभी अखाड़ा में नवयुवक-युक्तियाँ उपवास में करम राजा को लाने के लिए करम टोंका जायेंगे उपवास नवयुवक के द्वारा करम डाल काटकर युक्तियाँ को सौपेंगे उसके बाद सारे उपवास बच्चे-बच्चियां करम डाल को श्रद्धा के साथ पूजा करेंगे उसके बाद नाचते-गाते हुए करम राजा का अखाड़ा तक ले आयेंगे, करम डाल अखाड़ा में गढ़ने के बाद पाहन पुजारी व उनकी धर्म पत्नी धूमन-धुप करने के बाद लाल मुर्गा की पूजा की जाती है l उसके कुछ देर बाद करमा एवं धरमा दो महानवीरों की कथा सुनायी जाती है, उसके बाद रातभर बहुत ही हर्षोल्लास के साथ नाच-गान किया जाता है और दूसरे दिन शाम को करमा डाल की विसर्जन की जायेगी l यह राजी करम त्योहार (भादो एकादशी व्रत) हमारे पूर्वजों की देन है जिसे हम उरांव आदिवासी युगो-युगो से मनाते आ रहे है l यह महान सामाजिक धार्मिक एवं सांस्कृतिक व्रत करमा और धरमा दो महान वीरों के कर्म-धर्म एवं सत्य की शक्ति से सृजन हुआ है l आज भी भारतवर्ष के विभिन्न जातियों द्वारा विभिन्न प्रांतो में विशेषत: छोटानागपुर के कोने-कोने में अलग-अलग रस्मों से इस महान करमा पूजन (व्रत) को बड़ी श्रद्धापूर्वक धूम-धाम से मनाया जाता है l इस वर्ष भी भादो एकादशी के शुकल पक्ष में करमा त्योहार बड़ी सादगी के साथ मनाया जाएगा l इस शुभ अवसर पर उरांव समाज संघ, पश्चिमी सिंहभूम चाईबासा सभी माता-पिता भाई-बहन तथा बच्चों को हार्दिक धन्यवाद देती है और नेक कर्म के लिए ईश्वर से प्राथना करती है l उरांव समाज संघ की निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए त्योहार (करमा पूजन) को विधिपूर्वक सादगी से मनाने का आह्वान किया गया l इस अवसर पर समाज के मुखिया श्री लालू कुजूर,चमरू लकड़ा,शम्भु टोप्पो,खुदिया कुजूर,सीताराम मुण्डा,जगरनाथ लकड़ा,राजेन्द्र कच्छप,दुर्गा कुजूर,मंगरू टोप्पो,जगरनाथ टोप्पो,कृष्णा मुण्डा,बंधन खलखो, विकास लकड़ा,नितेश लकड़ा,रमेश लकड़ा, सुरज लकड़ा, रवि कुजूर नकुल टोप्पो,दीपक टोप्पो,निशांत मिंज,राजु कुजूर,पन्नालाल कच्छप, बुधराम कोया,रवि तिर्की, लखिन्द्र लकड़ा, अमित कुजूर, राहुल कुजूर सागर लकड़ा, नितेश कुजूर, अंकुश कोया,लखन टोप्पो,सुरज टोप्पो, सुजल तिर्की,नेहाल कुजूर,कृष्णा तिर्की,मंगल लकड़ा,रवि तिग्गा,श्रीमती लक्ष्मी कच्छप,सावित्री कच्छप,लक्ष्मी खलखो,पुतुल खलखो,शांति कुजूर, तितरी टोप्पो,प्रीति तिर्की,किरण कोया,शिल्पा तिग्गा, पूनम तिग्गा, मोनी कच्छप, नंदनी टोप्पो,पार्वती कुजूर बिंदिया कच्छप, संध्या टोप्पो, पूनम लकड़ा,भारती कुजूर आदि काफी संख्या में महिला-पुरूष उपस्थित थे l
New food was made in the seven Akharas of Chaibasa and the surrounding villages. All the people of the community offered new food grains to their ancestors and their favorite deity Dharmesh in their respective homes and worshiped them. After that, the new food grains were offered as Prasad. Accepted. Today on 25.09.2023, Karma festival will be celebrated with pomp, joy and full devotion. Young men in all the Akharas will be fasting to bring the Karam King to Karma. After handing over the tips, all the fasting boys and girls will worship the Karam Dal with devotion, after that they will bring it to the Karam Raja’s Akhara while dancing and singing. After molding the Karam Dal in the Akhara, the Pahan priest and his religious wife will smoke the incense sticks. After this, the Red Rooster is worshipped. After some time, the story of two great heroes Karma and Dharma is narrated, after that there is dancing and singing with great joy throughout the night and on the next day in the evening, the Karma Dal will be immersed. This Raji Karam festival (Bhado Ekadashi fast) is the gift of our ancestors which we Oraon tribals have been celebrating for ages. This great social, religious and cultural fast Karma and Dharma was created by the power of Karma-Dharma and Truth of two great heroes. Even today, this great Karma puja (fast) is celebrated with great devotion and pomp by different castes in different provinces of India, especially in every corner of Chhotanagpur, with different rituals. This year too, Bhado Ekadashi is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Karma festival will be celebrated with great simplicity in Shukla Paksha. On this auspicious occasion, Oraon Samaj Sangh, West Singhbhum Chaibasa heartily thanks all the parents, brothers, sisters and children and prays to God for their noble deeds.
