थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा हाथियों का उत्पात

ईचागढ़- सरायकेला खरसावां जिला के ईचागढ़ प्रखंड क्षेत्र में हाथियों का उत्पात थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। 10-12 कि संख्या में हाथियों का झुंड गुदड़ी के जंगल में डेरा डाले हुए हैं। हाथियों का झुंड क्षेत्र में प्रवेश करते ही दो दिनों से लगातार घरों को क्षतिग्रस्त कर अनाजों को अपना निवाला बना रहा है, जिससे क्षेत्र में लोग दहशत के साए में जी रहे हैं। हाथियों का झुंड दो ग्रुप में बंटा हुआ है। 4-5 हाथियों ने शुक्रवार की देर रात को टीकर के बनकाठी में दो घरों को तोड़कर घर में रखे धान व चावलों को चट कर गया। हाथियों ने रबनी गोराई व विनोद गोराई का घर को तोड़कर धान , चावलों को अपना निवाला बनाया। हाथियों ने फोतु गोराई,भंदो घोष ,मनोरथ गोराई सहित कय किसानों का खेत में लगे धान के बीचड़ों को भी पैर से मसलकर नष्ट कर दिया। सुचना मिलते ही शनिवार को ग्राम प्रधान मानीक गोराई व समाजसेवी अजय साव गांव पहुंचकर क्षतिग्रस्त घरों का जायजा लिया । वहीं उन्होंने मोबाइल पर वनपाल को घटना का जानकारी दिया एवं पीड़ित परिवारों को क्षतिग्रस्त घरों का जल्द मुआवजा देने व हाथियों को भगाने का मांग किया। उन्होंने बताया कि 4-5 हाथियों का झुंड ने दो घरों को तोड़कर अनाजों को चट कर गया। उन्होंने कहा कि हाथियों का झुंड बगल के जंगल में डेरा डाले हुए हैं, जिससे क्षेत्र में लोग दहशत के साए में रात काट रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वन विभाग क्षतिग्रस्त घरों का मुआवजा जल्द भुगतान करें, चूंकि अभी बर्षात का मौसम है लोगों को घरों का मरम्मती जरूरी है। उन्होंने कहा कि वन विभाग हाथियों को क्षेत्र से भगाएं। मालूम हो कि गुरुवार रात को भी जाहेरडीह व मानकीडीह में 4 घरों को तोड़कर घर में रखे धान, चावलो को चट कर गया था। लगातार हाथियों का उत्पात से ग्रामीण डरे हुए हैं। गुदड़ी के समीप जंगल में 8 हाथियों का झुंड डेरा डाले हुए हैं। रात को घरों से निकलना भी ग्रामीणों को आफत हो गया है।

At the same time, he informed about the incident to the forester on mobile and demanded immediate compensation for the damaged houses to the victim families and drive away the elephants. He told that a herd of 4-5 elephants broke two houses and licked the grains. He said a herd of elephants was camping in the adjacent forest, causing panic among the people in the area. He said that the Forest Department should pay the compensation for the damaged houses soon, as it is the rainy season, people need to repair their houses. He said that the forest department should drive away the elephants from the area.
