*उमा प्रधान एमएससी में कॉलेज टॉपर बनी,गोल्ड मेडल से सम्मानित होकर गौड़ समाज का बढ़ाया मान*
सरायकेला प्रखण्ड अन्तर्गत मुरुप गाँव के उमा प्रधान ने एमएससी (एग्रीकल्चर) में 85 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्तकर कॉलेज टॉपर बनकर गौड़ समाज का मान बढ़ाया। वह कृषि विज्ञान संस्थान काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय,बनारस से एमएससी की पढ़ाई की, एही नहीं बल्कि वह 85 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्तकर कॉलेज का टॉपर भी बनी। उन्हें कॉलेज की ओर से 103 वें दीक्षांत समारोह के अंतर्गत उपाधि वितरण समारोह आयोजित कर अतिथि के हाथ से गोल्ड मेडल पहनाकर सम्मानित किया गया।
बता दें अब वह भारतीय खाद्य निगम , कोलकता के मेकेनिकल विभाग में सहायक पद पर कार्यरत है। उन्होंने अपनी सफलता का सारा श्रेय अपने पिता एस के प्रधान माता सविता देवी, सास सरस्वती देवी ससुर गौरीशंकर प्रधान पति विकास प्रधान व शिक्षकों को दी है। ज्ञात हो कि उनका विवाह गत वर्ष गम्हरिया निवासी विकास प्रधान ( कंपनी मैनेजर) के साथ हुई है। वह विवाह के बाद भी अपनी अध्ययन जारी रखी। वह एक विवाहित महिला होकर जो उपलब्धि हासिल की है सही मायने में उनका जितना भी तारीफ किया जाय कम होगा। उन्होंने सफलता हासिल कर अपने परिवार रिश्तेदार व गौड़ समाज का मान बढ़ाने का काम किया है।
