ओडिशा में नई सरकार के गठन के साथ ही श्री जगन्नाथ मंदिर पर बड़ा फैसला लिया गया है। सरकार ने अपनी पहली कैबिनेट बैठक में मंदिर के चार द्वारों को फिर से खोलने का फैसला किया। गुरुवार को, प्रशासन ने इस निर्णय को पालन किया, जिसमें प्रदेश के नए सीएम मोहन चरण माझी भी उपस्थित थे। उन्होंने बताया कि कैबिनेट मीटिंग में मंदिर के चार द्वारों को खोलने का प्रस्ताव पारित हुआ और 13 जुलाई को भक्तों के लिए इन द्वारों को खोला जाएगा।

जानें आखिर क्यों बंद थे द्वार?

जगन्नाथ पुरी मंदिर की बात करें तो यहां कुल चार दरवाजे हैं. इनका नाम सिंह द्वार, अश्व द्वार, व्याघ्र द्वार और हस्ति द्वार है. कोरोना काल के दौरान तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक की ओर से सुरक्षा मानकों को ध्यान में रखते हुए तीन द्वार बंद कर दिए थे जिसे अबतक नहीं खोला गया था. जब कोरोना महामारी का प्रभाव कम होने लगा तो केवल सिंह द्वार को ही खोलने का फैसला किया गया था. इसकी वजह से एक द्वार से भक्तों की एंट्री व एक्जिट थी. एक ही द्वार खुलने की वजह से श्रद्धालुओं को दर्शन के लिए काफी इंतजार करना पड़ता था.

बीजेपी ने इसे अपने चुनावी मुद्दे में किया शामिल

पिछले दिनों ओडिशा में विधानसभा चुनाव हुए. चुनाव के दौरान पार्टियों ने कई तरह के वादे जनता से किए. बीजेपी ने चुनावों के दौरान वादा किया था कि उनकी सरकार बनते ही मंदिर के सभी दरवाजों को खोलने का काम किया जाएगा. वहीं चुनाव में जीत के बाद बीजेपी सरकार ने अपना वादा पूरा किया और 5 सालों से बंद जगन्नाथ पुरी के 3 अन्य द्वारों को खोलने का काम 13 जुलाई की सुबह किया गया. ओडिशा की बीजेपी सरकार ने अपनी पहली कैबिनेट बैठक में 12वीं शताब्दी के इस मंदिर की तत्काल आवश्यकता के लिए एक निधि स्थापित करने का भी फैसला लिया.

क्या कहा सीएम मोहन चरण माझी ने

जगन्नाथ पुरी मंदिर के द्वार खुलते समय, सीएम मोहन चरण माझी ने बताया कि कैबिनेट ने मंदिर के सभी चार द्वारों को खोलने का प्रस्ताव स्वीकृति दी है, और उन्होंने अपनी भाजपा संसदीय टीम के साथ मंदिर में ‘मंगला आरती’ में भाग लिया। वे बताए कि मंदिर के विकास के लिए कैबिनेट में एक निधि की मंजूरी हुई है, और आगामी राज्य बजट में मंदिर प्रबंधन के लिए 500 करोड़ रुपये का अलग कोष आवंटित किया जाएगा।

कैबिनेट मंत्री सुरेश पुजारी ने क्या कहा

मुख्यमंत्री मोहन चरण माझी, ओडिशा के दोनों उपमुख्यमंत्री, मंत्री, कई बीजेपी सांसद और पार्टी नेता मंदिर पहुंचे और भगवान जगन्नाथ की पूजा-अर्चना की. इन्होंने मंदिर परिसर की परिक्रमा भी की. मुख्यमंत्री ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि सरकार स्थिति पर बारीकी से नजर रखेगी और जरूरत पड़ी तो मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं के आवागमन को सुचारू बनाने के लिए और भी जरूरी कदम उठाएगी. वहीं कैबिनेट मंत्री सुरेश पुजारी ने कहा कि यह जानने के लिए विस्तृत रिपोर्ट मांगी गई है कि कोरोना महामारी के बाद मंदिर के तीन द्वार फिर से क्यों नहीं खोले गए थे? हमने भगवान जगन्नाथ के दर्शन किए और उनसे मानव जाति की रक्षा करने और अगले पांच वर्षों तक ओडिशा के लोगों की सेवा करने की शक्ति देने का आशीर्वाद मांगा है.

With the formation of the new government in Odisha, a big decision has been taken on Shri Jagannath Temple. The government, in its first cabinet meeting, decided to reopen the four gates of the temple. On Thursday, the administration followed this decision, in which the state’s new CM Mohan Charan Majhi was also present. He told that in the cabinet meeting, a proposal was passed to open four gates of the temple and these gates will be opened for the devotees on July 13.

Know why the doors were closed?

Talking about Jagannath Puri temple, there are total four doors here. Their names are lion gate, horse gate, tiger gate and hasti gate. During the Corona period, the then Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had closed three gates keeping in mind the security standards, which had not been opened till now. When the impact of the Corona epidemic started reducing, it was decided to open only the Singh Gate. Because of this, there was entry and exit of devotees through one gate. Due to only one door opening, devotees had to wait a long time for darshan.

BJP included it in its election issue

Recently assembly elections were held in Odisha. During the elections, parties made many promises to the public. BJP had promised during the elections that as soon as their government is formed, the work of opening all the doors of the temple will be done. After the victory in the elections, the BJP government fulfilled its promise and the work of opening 3 other gates of Jagannath Puri, which were closed for 5 years, was done on the morning of 13th July. The BJP government of Odisha, in its first cabinet meeting, also decided to set up a fund for the urgent need of this 12th century temple.

What did CM Mohan Charan Majhi say?

While opening the gates of Jagannath Puri temple, CM Mohan Charan Majhi informed that the cabinet has approved the proposal to open all four gates of the temple, and he participated in the ‘Mangala Aarti’ at the temple along with his BJP parliamentary team. He informed that a fund has been approved in the Cabinet for the development of the temple, and a separate fund of Rs 500 crore will be allocated for the temple management in the upcoming state budget.

What did Cabinet Minister Suresh Pujari say

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, both Deputy Chief Ministers of Odisha, ministers, several BJP MPs and party leaders reached the temple and offered prayers to Lord Jagannath. He also circumambulated the temple premises. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government will keep a close watch on the situation and if necessary, will take further necessary steps to ensure smooth flow of devotees to the temple. Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Suresh Pujari said that a detailed report has been sought to know why the three gates of the temple were not reopened after the Corona epidemic.
