World Sickle Cell Day 2024:सिकल सेल एनीमिया से पीड़ित नौ मरीजों को पहली बार पेंशन दी जा रही है। इनके स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाना राज्य सरकार और खूंटी जिला प्रशासन की प्राथमिकता है। यह पेंशन स्वामी विवेकानंद निःशक्त स्वावलंबन प्रोत्साहन योजना के तहत मिल रही है।
World Sickle Cell Day 2024:खूंटी जिले में सिकल सेल एनीमिया से पीड़ित नौ मरीजों को पहली बार पेंशन दी जा रही है। इस योजना के अंतर्गत, इन मरीजों को आजीवन हर महीने 1000 रुपए दिए जाएंगे। यह धन स्वामी विवेकानंद निःशक्त स्वावलंबन प्रोत्साहन योजना के तहत प्राप्त करने को मिल रहा है। खूंटी के उपायुक्त लोकेश मिश्रा ने इस पहल पर पहले चरण में इन नौ मरीजों के लिए इस योजना को शुरू किया है।
खूंटी जिला प्रशासन ने की है पहल
उपायुक्त लोकेश मिश्रा की पहल पर खूंटी जिले में पहली बार सिकेल सेल एनीमिया से पीड़ित मरीज को जिला सामाजिक सुरक्षा कोषांग द्वारा स्वामी विवेकानंद निःशक्त स्वावलंबन प्रोत्साहन योजना के तहत पेंशन की स्वीकृति दी गयी है. पहले चरण में खूंटी प्रखंड के 3, कर्रा के 3, मुरहू के 2 और तोरपा के 1 यानी कुल नौ मरीज शामिल हैं. इस योजना के तहत हर महीने 1000 रुपए की राशि लाभुकों को आजीवन दी जाएगी. भविष्य में यदि सिकेल सेल एनीमिया से पीड़ित व्यक्ति की पहचान होती है तो उन्हें भी इस योजना का लाभ दिया जाएगा.

खूंटी में 99165 की सिकल सेल स्क्रीनिंग
खूंटी जिले में अब तक कुल 99165 व्यक्तियों की सिकल सेल स्क्रीनिंग की गयी है. इनमें से कुल 114 सिकल सेल के Carrier पाए गए एवं कुल 46 व्यक्ति सिकल सेल एनीमिया-थेलेसीमिया रोग से ग्रसित पाए गए. इनमें से 9 व्यक्ति 40 प्रतिशत व इससे अधिक सिकल सेल एनीमिया-थेलेसीमिया रोग से ग्रसित हैं. उन्हें दिव्यांगता प्रमाण पत्र के आधार पर स्वामी विवेकानंद निःशक्त स्वावलंबन प्रोत्साहन योजना के तहत पेंशन दी जा रही है.
सिकल सेल एनीमिया को लेकर जागरूकता की जरूरत
वर्तमान समय में जहां एक ओर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं से लोगों की जीवन प्रत्याशा बढ़ी है, वहीं दूसरी ओर जनजातीय आबादी विभिन्न बीमारियों से ग्रसित है. इनमें सिकल सेल एनीमिया के संबंध में लोगों को जागरूक होने की आवश्यकता है. यह एक वंशानुगत रक्त संबंधी रोग है. ये विकारों का एक समूह है जो हीमोग्लोबिन के उत्पादन को प्रभावित करता है. गंभीर एनीमिया, पीलिया, विकास में देरी और संक्रमण की आशंका बढ़ जाती है. सिकल सेल एनीमिया एक गंभीर रोग है, जिसके उपायों और उपचार की जानकारी सुदूर क्षेत्रों तक पहुंचाना हम सभी की जिम्मेदारी है.
खूंटी सदर अस्पताल में ये हैं सुविधाएं
खूंटी जिले के सभी प्रखंडों में सिकल सेल एनीमिया-थेलेसीमिया स्क्रीनिंग/ जांच शिविर का आयोजन किया गया था. जिला स्तर से सिकल सेल मोबाइल मेडिकल वैन के द्वारा सुदूर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में लगातार लोगों की सिकल सेल स्क्रीनिंग की जा रही है. खूंटी सदर अस्पताल में सिकल सेल एनीमिया से ग्रसित व्यक्तियों को समुचित चिकित्सकीय व्यवस्था उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से सिकल सेल एनीमिया-थेलेसीमिया डे केयर सेंटर का संचालन किया जा रहा है. इसमें सिकल सेल एनीमिया-थेलेसीमिया से ग्रसित हर माह करीब 15 व्यक्तियों को निःशुल्क चिकित्सकीय परामर्श, उपचार, दवा एवं खून उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है.

Khunti district administration has taken initiative
On the initiative of Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra, for the first time in Khunti district, a patient suffering from sickle cell anemia has been approved for pension by the District Social Security Cell under the Swami Vivekananda Nishakt Swavalamban Protsahan Yojana. In the first phase, 3 patients from Khunti block, 3 from Karra, 2 from Murhu and 1 from Torpa i.e. a total of nine patients are included. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 1000 will be given every month to the beneficiaries for life. In future, if a person suffering from sickle cell anemia is identified, then he will also be given the benefit of this scheme.

Sickle cell screening of 99165 in khunti
Sickle cell screening of a total of 99165 persons has been done so far in Khunti district. Need for awareness about sickle cell anemia
At present, while on one hand the life expectancy of people has increased due to health facilities, on the other hand the tribal population is suffering from various diseases. In these, people need to be aware regarding sickle cell anemia. This is a hereditary blood related disease. These are a group of disorders that affect the production of hemoglobin. The risk of severe anemia, jaundice, developmental delay and infection increases. Sickle cell anemia is a serious disease, it is the responsibility of all of us to spread the information about its remedies and treatment to remote areas.
These are the facilities in Khunti Sadar Hospital
Sickle cell anemia-thalassaemia screening camp was organized in all the blocks of Khunti district. Sickle cell screening of people is being done continuously in remote rural areas through sickle cell mobile medical van from the district level. Sickle Cell Anemia-Thalassemia Day Care Center is being run in Khunti Sadar Hospital with the aim of providing proper medical care to the people suffering from sickle cell anemia. In this, every month about 15 people suffering from sickle cell anemia and thalassemia are being provided free medical consultation, treatment, medicine and blood.
