Jamshedpur: ओड़िशा से 2 लाख के गांजे को झारखंड खपाने की फिराक में थे 2 तस्कर, पहुंच गए जेल

झारखंड में शहरी क्षेत्रों के अलावा ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भी अवैध द्रव्य पदार्थ का अवैध कारोबार बढ़ता जा रहा है। इसी मामले पर पुलिस द्वारा लगातार छापामारी अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी के तहत जमशेदपुर के पोटका में गुड़ाबांधा पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली कि उड़ीसा से तस्कर गांजा लेकर गुड़ाबांधा थाना क्षेत्र के अस्ति में बिक्री करने हेतु मोटरसाइकिल से आने वाला है।

इसी सूचना के आधार पर वरीय पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देश पर पुलिस अधीक्षक महोदय द्वारा पुलिस उपाधीक्षक मुसाबनी के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष टीम का गठन किया गया। इस टीम द्वारा पिकेट के सामने छिपकर निगरानी करने लगी मोटरसाइकिल से एक व्यक्ति सुनसान स्थान पर आकर किसी का इंतजार करने लगा कुछ ही देर में एक व्यक्ति उनके पास आकर बात करने लगा दोनों व्यक्तियों की संदिग्ध गतिविधि पाकर पुलिस टीम के द्वारा दोनों व्यक्तियों को पकड़ा गया।

गांजे के कुल 19 पैकेट जब्त

पुलिस ने जब मोटरसाइकिल से आए व्यक्ति से पूछताछ की तो उसने अपना नाम सनत सेठी तथा दूसरे व्यक्ति ने अपना नाम रूपक कुमार साहु बताया। उक्त दोनों व्यक्तियों तथा मोटरसाइकिल की तलाशी लेने पर सनत सेठी की पीठ पर बैग के अंदर से 7 पैकेट गांजा तथा मोटरसाइकिल में बंधे 12 पैकेट यानी कि कुल उन्नीस पैकेट पकड़े।

2 लाख है बरामद गांजे की कीमत

वहीं इन जब्त पैकेट में से कुल 19.700 किलो गांजा बरामद किया गया जिसका बाजार मूल्य दो लाख रुपये बताया जा रहा है। मामले पर दो सदस्य को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया। गिरफ्तार इन दोनों आरोपितों के पास से मोटरसाइकिल दो मोबाइल एवं लगभग 20 किलो गांजा बरामद किया गया। दोनों को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया। उक्त जानकारी ग्रामीण एसपी द्वारा जादूगोड़ा थाने में एक प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान दी गई।

This team started monitoring by hiding in front of the picket, a person from a motorcycle came to a deserted place and waited for someone, shortly a person came to them and started talking, both the persons were caught by the police team after finding suspicious activity of both the persons. .

Total 19 packets of ganja seized

When the police interrogated the person who came from the motorcycle, he told his name as Sanat Sethi and the other person told his name as Rupak Kumar Sahu. On searching the said two persons and the motorcycle, 7 packets of ganja were found from inside the bag on the back of Sanat Sethi and 12 packets tied in the motorcycle i.e. nineteen packets in total.

2 lakhs is the price of recovered hemp

At the same time, a total of 19.700 kg of ganja was recovered from these seized packets, whose market value is said to be two lakh rupees. Two members were arrested on the matter and sent to judicial custody. A motorcycle, two mobiles and about 20 kg of ganja were recovered from both these arrested accused.
