खूंटपानी प्रखंड अंतर्गत प्रखंड परिसर में झारखंड सरकार के द्वारा महिला बाल विकास एवं सामाजिक सुरक्षा विभाग झारखंड मंत्रालय प्रोजेक्ट भवन रांची के द्वारा सभी प्रखंड में 16 अक्टूबर 2023 को राज्यव्यापी बाल विवाह से आजादी अभियान बाल विवाह के विरुद्ध में सभी संबंधित प्रखंड में बाल विवाह के विरुद्ध प्रखंड प्रमुख सिद्धार्थ होनहागा के द्वारा शपथ दिलाया गया, प्रखंड वासियों को शपथ में कम उम्र की लड़कियों को शादी एक सामाजिक बुराई और कानूनी अपराध माना गया है।लड़कियों के लिए 18 वर्ष एवं लड़कों के लिए 21 वर्ष से काम नहीं होना चाहिए, जाने अनजाने लड़कियों को शारीरिक रूप से कमजोरी तथा अशिक्षित रखने का षड्यंत्र है। ताकि वह हमेशा और अनिर्णय की स्थिति में रहे उनका मानसिक एवं शारीरिक शोषण किया जा सके इनकी रोकथाम के लिए झारखंड सरकार हमेशा प्रयास कर रही है। सभी प्रखंड वासियों ने शपथ लेते हुए कहा बाल विवाह को जड़ से खत्म करना है।
Statewide freedom from child marriage campaign against child marriage in all the concerned blocks on 16 October 2023 in all the blocks by the Jharkhand Government, Jharkhand Ministry of Women, Child Development and Social Security Department, Jharkhand Ministry of Women, Child Development and Social Security, in the block premises under Khuntapani block. The oath was administered by Block Chief Siddharth Honhaga, in the oath to the people of the block, marriage of underage girls is considered a social evil and a legal crime. Girls should not work after 18 years and boys should not work after 21 years, knowingly or unknowingly. There is a conspiracy to keep girls physically weak and uneducated. Jharkhand government is always making efforts to prevent this so that they remain in a state of indecisiveness and can be subjected to mental and physical exploitation. All the residents of the block took oath and said that child marriage has to be eradicated from the roots.
