*इवीएम वेयरहाउस का उपायुक्त ने किया त्रैमासिक निरीक्षण, ई.सी.आई. द्वारा प्राप्त दिशा निदेशो के अनुपालन के दिए निदेश*

जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी -सह- उपायुक्त श्री रवि शंकर शुक्ला के द्वारा सामुदायिक भवन सरायकेला स्थित ईवीएम वेयर हाउस का त्रैमासिक निरीक्षण किया गया। निरीक्षण क्रम में उपायुक्त ने भवन अंतर्गत कमरों का अवलोकन किया साथ ही ईवीएम संग्रहित सील कमरे का भी निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने कमरों, छत, भवन परिसर, सीसीटीवी कैमरा आदि की वस्तु स्थिति से अवगत होते हुए विधि-व्यवस्था का भी अवलोकन किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान उपायुक्त ने वेयरहाउस में ईवीएम मशीन के रख-रखाव, सुरक्षा तंत्र सहित परिसर की सुरक्षा के दृष्टिकोण से सभी बिदुओं का निरीक्षण करते हुए संबंधित उप निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी कानूराम नाग को आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिए। उपायुक्त ने कहा लोकतंत्र में ईवीएम की विश्वसनीयता में किसी भी प्रकार का संदेह न रहे, इस निमित्त वेयर हाउस जहां ईवीएम रखी जाती है का समय-समय पर रख-रखाव और सुरक्षा पर विशेष ध्यान देने तथा भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा प्राप्त दिशा निर्देशों अक्षांश अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने के निदेश दिए।

Deputy Commissioner said that in order to ensure that there is no doubt about the reliability of EVMs in a democracy, special attention should be paid to the periodic maintenance and security of the warehouse where EVMs are kept and compliance with the guidelines received by the Election Commission of India.
