खरसावां के कृषि तकनीकी सूचना केंद्र में कृषि पशुपालन एवं सहकारिता विभाग झारखंड सरकार के वित्तीय वर्ष 2023 24 के द्वारा राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा मिशन के तहत प्रखंड के15 बिरसा किसानों प्रत्यक्षण के लिए शत प्रतिशत अनुदान पर 5-5 किलो चना बीज का वितरण किया गया किसानों की चना बीच देते हुए खरसावां प्रखंड प्रमुख मनिंदर जामुदा ने कहा कि सरकार की यीजना है कि किसानों की खरीफ सीजन में जो नुकसान हुआ है उसकी भरपाई रबी में की जाए। इसलिए इस बार किसानों की रबी सीजन के दौरान अधिक खेती करने के लिए प्रति साहित किया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार की तरफ से इस साल चना के निशुल्क बीज का वितरण किया जा रहा है उन्होंने कहा कि किसान वैज्ञानिक तरीके से चना की खेती कर आत्मनिर्भर बन सकते हैं दूसरे फसलों को तुलना में चना की खेती में काफी कम लागत आती है चना की खेती में कम बीज, कम खाद ओर उवेरकी के साथ ही सिंचाई के लिए बहुत कम पानी की जरूरत होती है।
चना बीज वितरण में मुख्य रूप से प्रखंड प्रमुख मनेदर जामुदा, अजय सामड, बीएओ जगाबंधु महतो, बीटीएम रतन टोप्पो एटीएम सुखलाल सीय, पंचायत समिति सदस्य गोविंद हाईबुरु, बलभद्र महती, खिरीद प्रमाणिक, आदि उपस्थित थे।
