भारत और मालदीव के बीच बढ़ते तनाव के बीच फिल्म इंडस्ट्री के यूनियन फेडरेशन ऑफ वेस्टर्न इंडिया सिने एम्प्लॉइज (FWICE) ने बड़ा फैसला लिया है. यूनियन ने अपने सदस्यों और फिल्म निर्माताओं से मालदीव में फिल्म शूटिंग करने पर तत्काल रोक लगाने की अपील की है. हाल ही में मालदीव के मंत्रियों द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर की गई टिप्पणियों की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए FWICE ने फिल्म निर्माताओं को भारत में वैसे ही लोकेशन चुनने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया है.

Amidst the increasing tension between India and Maldives, the film industry union Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has taken a big decision. The union has appealed to its members and filmmakers to immediately stop shooting films in Maldives. Strongly condemning the recent comments made by Maldivian ministers on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, FWICE has encouraged filmmakers to choose similar locations in India.
Recently, an indecent comment was made by the Minister of Maldives against Lakshyadeep and PM Modi, after which a controversy emerged and the entire Bollywood and the entire country has stood against Maldives.
