मैं जिंदा हूं साहब… आखिर कितनी बार कहूं’, पेंशन के लिए दर-दर भटक रहा बुजुर्ग।

बोकारो :* सरकारी रिकॉर्ड में मृत घोषित 70 वर्षीय खेदन घांसी तो पहले पेंशन से वंचित कर दिये गये, अब उनके सामने खुद को जीवित साबित करने की चुनौती है.

दफ्तर-दफ्तर चक्कर लगा कर थक चुके कसमार प्रखंड के बगदा गांव के वयोवृद्ध खेदन कहते हैं कि अब कितनी बार और कहां-कहां कहूं कि साहब मैं जिंदा हूं. सरकारी दफ्तरों के चक्कर लगाते हुए हर बार दुहराना पड़ रहा है. सबसे बड़ी परेशानी यह है कि मृत घोषित हो जाने के कारण उनकी वृद्धावस्था पेंशन बंद कर दी गयी है. इससे उनकी आर्थिक स्थिति भी गड़बड़ हो गयी है.

*बीडीओ का प्रयास भी गया बेकार*
मामले से अवगत होने के बाद कसमार बीडीओ विजय कुमार ने छानबीन की. सरकारी रिकार्ड में खेदन घांसी के मृत घोषित होने का पता चलने पर बीडीओ ने 20 अप्रैल 2023 को सामाजिक सुरक्षा, बोकारो के सहायक निदेशक को पत्र लिखा. उसमें बताया गया कि बगदा के पंचायत सचिव द्वारा भूलवश जीवित पेंशनधारी को भौतिक सत्यापन में मृत घोषित कर दिया गया था. फलत: उनकी पेंशन रुक गयी है. बीडीओ ने पत्र में लिखा है कि वर्तमान भौतिक सत्यापन में खेदन घांसी को जीवित पाया गया है. इस आधार पर उन्होंने सितंबर 2022 से उनको पेंशन भुगतान का आग्रह किया, पर बीडीओ के पत्र के एक महीना से अधिक बीत जाने के बाद भी उनकी पेंशन चालू नहीं हो पायी है.

खेदन घांसी (पिता-छुटू साव) को कई वर्षों से नियमित रूप से वृद्धावस्था पेंशन मिल रही थी. इसी से इनके जीवन की गाड़ी चल रही थी. अचानक सितंबर 2022 से पेंशन मिलनी बंद हो गयी. खेदन गांव के गोड़ाइत हैं. पेंशन इनके जीवनयापन का एक बड़ा सहारा था. अचानक पेंशन रुक जाने से वह परेशान हो गये. वजह जानने के लिए संबंधित कार्यालयों और कर्मियों के पास दौड़ लगानी शुरू कर दी. काफी पूछताछ और भागदौड़ के बाद वह तब परेशान हो गये, जब उन्हें पता चला कि सरकारी रिकॉर्ड में उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया है. अब खुद को जीवित साबित करने के लिए वह भागदौड़ कर रहे हैं.

*प्रखंड कर्मियों की लापरवाही का नतीजा*
प्रखंड के कर्मियों की लापरवाही के चलते बगदा पंचायत में खेदन घांसी जैसे कई वृद्ध पेंशनभोगियों को परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. खेदन घांसी जैसे एक बेबस वृद्ध को मृत घोषित कर उनकी पेंशन को रोक देने का यह मामला गंभीर है. इसके दोषी कर्मियों पर कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए. खेदन घांसी की पेंशन जल्द चालू नहीं हुई, तो मामला डीसी तक लेकर जायेंगे.

*BDO’s effort also went in vain*
After getting aware of the matter, Kasmar BDO Vijay Kumar investigated. The BDO wrote a letter on 20 April 2023 to the Assistant Director of Social Security, Bokaro, after discovering that Khedan Ghansi was declared dead in the government records. It was told in it that by mistake the living pensioner was declared dead in the physical verification by the Panchayat Secretary of Bagda. As a result, his pension has stopped. The BDO has written in the letter that in the present physical verification, Khedan Ghansi has been found alive. On this basis, he requested for payment of pension to him from September 2022, but even after more than one month of BDO’s letter, his pension has not been started.

Khedan Ghansi (father-Chhutu Sav) was getting old age pension regularly for many years. Due to this, the car of his life was running. Suddenly from September 2022 the pension has stopped. Khedan is a Godite of the village. Pension was a big support for his life. He got upset due to the sudden stoppage of pension. To know the reason, started running around the concerned offices and personnel. After a lot of questioning and running around, he got upset when he came to know that he has been declared dead in the official records. Now he is running to prove himself alive.
The result of the negligence of the block personnel
Due to the negligence of the personnel of the block, many old age pensioners like Khedan Ghansi in Bagda Panchayat are facing difficulties. This matter of stopping the pension of a helpless old man like Khedan Ghansi by declaring him dead is serious. on its guilty personnel There should be action. If the pension of Khedan Ghansi is not started soon, then the matter will be taken to DC.
