कंगना रनौत और चिराग पासवान दोनों फिल्मी दुनिया से आते हैं. वहीं 13 साल पहले दोनों एक फिल्म में लीड एक्टर के रूप में काम भी कर चुके हैं. फिल्म का नाम था- ‘मिले न मिले हम’. यह चिराग पासवान की डेब्यू फिल्म थी. इस फ़िल्म के निर्देशक तनवीर खान थे. इसमें कंगना रनौत और चिराग पासवास के अलावा नीरू बाजवा और सागरिका घाटगे भी थीं. चिराग पासवान की यह डेब्यू फिल्म फ्लॉप कर गई थी.
इसके बाद उन्होंने राजनीति की ओर रुख किया और साल 2014 के लोकसभा चुनाव में अपने पिता के नेतृत्व में बिहार की जमुई से चुनाव लड़े और जीत गए. चिराग पासवान की बॉलीवुड में एंट्री फ्लॉप थी लेकिन उनकी और कंगना रनौत की जोड़ी को बेहद पसंद किया गया था. दरअसल देश में ऐसा पहली बार हो रहा है, जब एक ही फिल्म के दोनों हीरो-हीरोइन अपनी-अपनी सीट से चुनाव जीतकर संसद भवन में साथ पहुंचे हों.

‘मिले न मिले हम’ की कहानी चिराग पासवान के किरदार के इर्द-गिर्द घूमती है. चिराग टेनिस प्लेयर बनना चाहता है. लेकिन उनकी मां को टेनिस से नफरत है. माता-पिता का तलाक हो जाता है वे एक दूसरे से अलग हो जाते हैं. उन्हें फैमिली का कोई सपोर्ट नहीं मिलता है. फिर उनकी जिंदगी में अनिशका (कंगना रनौत) की एंट्री होती है. प्यार और करियर के बीच ही फिल्म की कहानी को गढ़ा गया है.
मिले न मिले हम चिराग पासवान के करियर की पहली और आखिरी फिल्म थी. इसके बाद वो राजनीति में आ गए. वहीं उसके बाद भी कंगना रनौत ने कई फिल्मों में काम किया. इस बार उन्होंने राजनीति में अपनी किस्मत आजमाई और मंडी से चुनाव जीती हैं. 13 साल बाद कंगना और चिराग पासवान एक ही छतरी के नीचे नजर आ रहे हैं.
