*महालिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन में समस्याओं की अंबार,समाधान हेतु ग्रामीणों ने सौंपी ज्ञापन*

सरायकेला:: दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे के चक्रधरपुर रेल मंडल अन्तर्गत हावड़ा- नागपुर- मुम्बई मुख्य रेलपथ पर अतिमहत्वपूर्ण महालिमोरूप नामक रेलवे स्टेशन अवस्थित है। यह रेलवे स्टेशन भारतीय राज्य झारखण्ड के औद्योगिक जिला सरायकेला- खरसावां में स्थित है। इस रेलवे स्टेशन के अप – डाउन व थर्ड रेललाइन के पटरियों पर रोजाना करीब 200 से अधिक यात्री व मालवाहक ट्रेनों का परिचालन किया जाता है, जबकि माहलिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन में मात्र 16 पैसेंजर गाड़ियों का ठहराव है, पर यहां यात्री सुविधा की घोर अभाव है। उक्त समस्या के संदर्भ में चक्रधरपुर रेल मंडल के प्रबंधक के नाम का ज्ञापन महालिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन के एस म प्रेम सिंह बोदरा को स्थानीय मुखिया तापस कुमार महतो व ग्रामीणों द्वारा सौंप गया। उक्त ज्ञापन में महालिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन के यात्रियों व स्थानीय ग्रामीणों को हो रही दिक्कतों का जिक्र किया गया है।

(1) *पैसेंजर ट्रेन*:- माहलिमोरूप क्षेत्र के लोगों का एक मात्र यातायात का साधन रेलवे है। इस स्टेशन से यात्रा हेतु पैसेंजर ट्रेन ही उपलब्ध है। अतः इस स्टेशन पर रुकने वाली पैसेंजर ट्रेनों को निर्धारित समय पर चलाया जाय। इस स्टेशन पर घंटो- घंटो पैसेंजर ट्रेनों का ठहराव कर कई मालवाहक व एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों को पास कराया जाता है। यहाँ के यात्री को ट्रेन विलंब से चलने पर काफी दिक्कत होती है।

(2) *एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन*:- इस स्टेशन में एक भी एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन का ठहराव नहीं है। यहाँ के यात्री को एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन से यात्रा करने हेतु अन्य स्टेशन पर जाना पड़ता है।

(3) *ग्राउंड ब्रिज :-* महालिमोरूप स्टेशन के नजदीकी रेलवे फाटक का लॉक स्टेशन मास्टर के कंट्रोल में होने के कारण गेटमैन इमरजेंसी की स्थिति में भी बंद फाटक को नहीं खोल सकते है, जिससे लोगों को आवागमन में काफी दिक्कत होती है। यहाँ पर अंडर ग्राउंड ब्रिज का निर्माण करने से लोगों को जाम से मुक्ति मिल जाएगी व आवागमन में भी सहुलियत होगी।

(4) *फुट ब्रिज :-* इस स्टेशन में निर्माणाधीन फुट ब्रिज काफी समय से अधूरा पड़ा हुआ है। यहां के प्लेटफार्म संख्या एक ,दो और तीन में फुट ब्रिज है, जो जर्जर हो गया है। प्लेटफार्म संख्या चार एवं सातवां व आठवां रेल लाइन को आर-पार करने के लिए फुट ब्रिज की व्यवस्था नहीं है,ऊपर से दोनों पटरियों पर घंटों घंटों मालवाहक ट्रेनों को खड़ी कर दी जाती है, जिसकी वजह से यात्री को आर पार होने में काफी दिक्कत हो रही है। मजबूरन यात्री जान जोखिम में डालकर ट्रेनों के नीचे से आरपार होते हैं। जिससे कभी भी बड़ी दुर्घटना घटने की संभावना बनी रहेगी।

(5) *शौचालय :-* इस स्टेशन के प्लेटफार्म परिसर में शौचालय की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं है। स्टेशन परिसर के बाहर शौचालय का निर्माण किया गया है पर उसमे हमेशा ताला लगा रहने की वजह से यात्री मजबुरन खुले में शौच जाते है।

(6) *पानी :-* इस स्टेशन में यात्री के लिए पीने का पानी की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं है। प्लेटफार्म दो और तीन पर एक एक चापाकल है जिसकी हालत अच्छी नहीं है। स्टेशन में यात्री पानी के लिए परेशान रहते है।

(7) *शेड :-* इस स्टेशन के प्लेटफार्म परिसर में पर्याप्त शेड उपलब्ध नहीं होने की वजह से बरसात के दिनों में यात्री भींगने के लिए विवश हो जाते है।

(8) *लाइट / रोशनी :-* इस स्टेशन में लाइट की कमी होने की वजह से सभी प्लेटफार्म में अंधकारमय बना रहता है, जिससे बुजुर्ग यात्री को काफी दिक्कत का सामना करना पड़ता है ,अन्य यात्री भी भयभीत रहते है।

(9) *चियर*:- इस स्टेशन के प्लेटफार्म में यात्रियों के बैठने हेतु पर्याप्त चियर उपलब्ध नहीं है, जिससे वरिष्ठ नागरिक यात्री भी मजबूरन नीचे जमीन पर बैठ जाते है।

(10) *साफ सफाई :-* इस स्टेशन में प्लेटफार्म परिसर का प्रतिदिन साफ सफाई नहीं होने के कारण गंदगी का अंबार लगा रहता है।

फलतःमहालिमोरूप रेलवे स्टेशन के यात्री व स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने उक्त समस्या का समाधान यथा शीघ्र करवाने का आग्रह किए है । मौके पर स्थानीय मुखिया तापस कुमार महतो,वार्ड सदस्य लक्ष्मी महाली,हेमसागर प्रधान, अनिरुद प्रमाणिक,जयचंद प्रधान, मलीन दास, हरी महतो, मुन्ना महाली,कबीर प्रमाणिक, जीवन प्रमाणिक, डा सदानंद महतो, डा भीम महतो, गोवर्धन महतो, नरेश मंडल, बुधेश्वर् महली, महेश्वर महली, दशरथ महली, समेत कई महिला पुरुष व बच्चे उपस्थित थे।

Seraikela :: The very important Mahalimorup railway station is situated on the Howrah-Nagpur-Mumbai main railway line under Chakradharpur railway division of South Eastern Railway. This railway station is located in the industrial district Seraikela-Kharsawan of the Indian state of Jharkhand. More than 200 passenger and freight trains are operated daily on the tracks of up-down and third railline of this railway station, while only 16 passenger trains stop at Mahlimorup railway station, but there is a severe lack of passenger facilities. In the context of the said problem, a memorandum in the name of the Manager of Chakradharpur Railway Division was handed over to SM Prem Singh Bodra of Mahalimorup Railway Station by the local chief Tapas Kumar Mahto and the villagers. In the said memorandum, the problems being faced by the passengers and local villagers of Mahalimorup railway station have been mentioned.

(1) *Passenger Train*:- Railway is the only means of transport for the people of Mahlimorup area. Only passenger train is available for travel from this station. Therefore, passenger trains stopping at this station should be run on schedule. Many freight and express trains are passed by stopping hourly passenger trains at this station. Passengers here face a lot of trouble when the train runs late.

(2) *Express Train*:- Not a single express train stoppage in this station. The passenger here has to go to another station to travel by express train.

(3) *Ground Bridge :-* Due to the lock of the railway gate near Mahalimorup station being under the control of the station master, the gateman cannot open the closed gate even in case of emergency, due to which people face a lot of difficulty in movement. By constructing an underground bridge here, people will get freedom from jam and there will be ease in movement.

(4) *Foot Bridge :-* The foot bridge under construction in this station is lying incomplete for a long time. Platform numbers one, two and three have foot bridges here, which have become dilapidated. There is no arrangement of foot bridge to cross platform number four and seventh and eighth rail line, cargo trains were parked for hours on both the tracks from above. Due to which the passenger is facing a lot of difficulty in crossing. Passengers are forced to cross under the trains risking their lives. Due to which there will be a possibility of a big accident happening anytime.

(5) *Toilet :-* There is no arrangement of toilet in the platform premises of this station. Toilets have been constructed outside the station premises, but due to always being locked, passengers are forced to defecate in the open.

(6) *Water :-* There is no arrangement of drinking water for the passengers in this station. There is a hand pump on platform two and three, which is not in a good condition. Passengers are worried about water in the station.

(7) *Sheds :-* Due to non-availability of sufficient sheds in the platform premises of this station, passengers are forced to get wet during rainy days.

(8) *Light / Roshni :-* Due to lack of light in this station, all the platforms remain dark, due to which the elderly passengers have to face a lot of problems, other passengers are also scared.

(9) *Cheer*:- Sufficient cheer is not available in the platform of this station for the passengers to sit, due to which even the senior citizen passengers are forced to sit on the ground below.

(10) *Cleanliness :-* Due to lack of daily cleaning of the platform premises in this station, there is a pile of filth.

As a result, the passengers and local villagers of Mahalimorup railway station have requested to solve the problem as soon as possible. Local chief Tapas Kumar Mahto, ward member Laxmi Mahali, Hemsagar Pradhan, Anirud Pradhan, Jaichand Pradhan, Malin Das, Hari Mahto, Munna Mahali, Kabir Pramanik, Jeevan Pramanik, Dr. Sadanand Mahato, Dr. Bhim Mahato, Govardhan Mahato, Naresh Mandal , Budheshwar Mahali, Maheshwar Mahali, Dashrath Mahali, including many women, men and children were present.
